I have to jump in on this one. First thing....Welcome to the forum!
Second, I agree with the other guys and can't say it better. I can, however, give you my story, so I will. Many times I have bid on and won a great deal from CI (Cigarbid). I know that I am going to throw away a couple of cigars from my order. I only bid on boxes because the boxes are sealed (kinda). I also know that the CI cigars are going to sit in my #2 Humi for a period of at least 2 mounths. I have the cigar oasis and lots of room so this is not a problem. They ship DHL and quite frankly DHL bites the big banana. One time I called and was told that they just ran out of drivers and my order would be there a couple of day late. Well, let's see, a couple of days at 150* in the back of a freaking truck.....Yeah I use my #2 humi as a quarantine.
Now.....When I order from Cigar dot com, I talk to Donny. I expect and recieve the best service in the industry. My Cigars are on my front steps in 3 days and packed with bubble wrap and humi packs and zip lock bags and always a little surprise. They go right in my big humi and I usually somke one right away.
Here's my point. Cigar dot com is Macy's, Ci is K-Mart. Sorry but this is my opinion and my experience. If CI has an issue with me.......bring it! I am right here! Ya know, 2 times my order has been miss-placed and shipped from CI when I placed the order with Donny. They mixed up the boxes down stairs. Thank God they were packed by Cigar dot com. They were late, but they were fine. In closing........When you want the very best product, service and price, Buy from Cigar dot com. When you want a deal and you are willing to take a chance....well you know. With Cigar dot com you can call Donny and he will fix the problem, the other direction is not so, how shall I say, comfortable. So there is my story, I'm stickng to it. Cigar dot com will always get the Lyon's share of my business.
