I suggest nobody buy this for a humidor. Juniperus Virginia is what they sell. This is Eastern red cedar which is overly aromatic. This is what people put in closets to keep moths away.
I don't know where you came up with Juniperus Virginia, But under "spanish cedar" they quote the genus "cedrela" or Spanish Cedar". I have purchased from this site and can vouch for it's selling Spanish Cedar. In case you might think I am an Idiotus Americanus, I can say that I have compared my purchase to my humidor and cigar boxes. So, If i have been duped in all my other Spanish Cedar experiences, I guess I was duped in this one as well. http://www.woodnshop.com/hardwood/SPANISH_CEDAR.htm This link will show a picture of the product which looks nothing like Eastern Red Cedar.

Excuse me but I don't believe I attacked you. I certainly didn't call you or even imply you were an "Idiotus Americanus." I merely stated a suggestion based on the only other cedar, Juniperus Virginiana which was located in the CEDAR SECTION. I must have missed the spanish cedar in in the hardwood price list.
