Ive never tried smoking one. Typically they are more decoration but you can smoke them. It looks closed on both ends so you would probably need to cut both ends and smoke it like a pyramid.
I know of a guy that smoked an Opus Sosa Bat. He cut off the cap at the head of the bat and flamed up the knob. It took some lighter work and I believe he ended up cutting off the knob and smoked it like a reverse torp.
There was a time when I would consider that an act of sacrilege. But Sosa is not worthy of having anything branded after him anymore in my opinion.
