4/19 enjoyed a c10, my first. I wish I had enough time to have more than one cigar a day. It just makes that one I have that much better I guess.
Got that c10 from the box pass and hardly even let it sit. Still smoked perfect, so I can vouch that the pass is keeping a great RH.
I would be happy to copy another forum and start a post everynight after work for each specific days smokes. Not sure how people here are about copying post ideas.

After lunch I had a CAO Maduro Churchill which was great. I love that presmoke aroma. Tonight I had a Punch Rare Corojo Double Corona. The first 1/3 had a tight draw, but it quickly opened up and was very enjoyable.

Started with an Oliva Grand Maduro Presidente, but tossed it (refer to my post in worst cigar mistake for details).
I reached into my humidor looking for a Diploma since i needed something tried and true, but realized i only had one left so i grabbed an anarchy torpedo. it was a little dry which made the taste a little milder than normal but other than that and some burn issues it was still good.
The best part of the day was at the local shop. I asked what he had new and he escorted me to the humidor and showed me the La Aurora Preferidos he just got in the blue tube. I have never had one of these so i dont know what the different tube colors are for. After telling him i didnt want to buy one because they were $18 each he gifted me one. Then we chatted and i picked up 6 singles and he said "oh i forgot." He reached into a special cabinet and pulled out a padron 1926 and said, "i meant to give you one of these the other day." :shock: <- me when i saw what he grabbed.
At that point my day was made and i have had a huge grin on my face since
edit: i also found out that they have an event tomorrow evening so i will be there for some tasting. can't remember what manufacturer though.

Those La Aurora Saphires are great but pricey. I ended up with way more that I bargained for when I purchased last month so I am marking then way way way down next month for all interested parties. For a week I am planning on singles for $12.80 and boxes for $260.00 Still kind of expensive but it sure beats $325 a box. If you want a nice cigar, the corjojo in the saphires (gold tube) is excellent as well.
alex, pending my smoke of the cigar i would be very interested in buying say 5-10 at that price. If it is good then i would like to have some on hand for special smokes. As far as a box i tend to stay away from boxes that cost over $150 because my budget doesn't allow it, and i have lots of smokes under $150 that i really enjoy.
Today I had a Hemmingway Classic and this evening I had an Añejo 55. Tomorrow I might go a little cigar crazy since I have to get a wisdom tooth pulled on Friday and won't be able to smoke for at least a few days

Still...this sucks. :cry:wisdem teeth can cause problems when your that old! i thought i was lucky and got passed that problem! i got all four of mine and they have given me no problems.
By the time I was 22 they were all in fine, but I cracked this one a few months ago so now it has to go. So far today I've had a Davidoff #2000 Tubos and a CAO Gold robusto.
haven't had anything yet, but will be having a zino when i go to the smoke shop and get the free one the rep is giving away. haven't had one so it should be interesting.
I haven't smoked anything worthwhile for the last day or two, but I'm off to the smoke shop here in a few minutes to pick out some new stuff to try.
In reference to Cobsgirl's comments on the peterson. I thought that cigar had plenty of taste. In fatc I normally hate Cameroon and it just didn't have that metallic taste that normally characterizes the wrapper. I certainly hope you tried it again. Perhaps it was left out of the humidor too long and then rehumidified.
I just finished a Cuesta-Rey Centenario Pyramid No. 9 maduro, and I also picked up a couple Centenario No. 60s, a H. Upmann Vintage Cameroon, and a 3-pack of Cohiba Robustos. I also bought a pipe, but that's not important here.
smoked the free zino platinum sceptor low rider the rep gave me, then took advantage of the buy two get one free deal. I enjoyed this smoke and it was farily complex. However the price will keep it as a cigar that i rarely smoke. Had a padron 3000 M after the zino.

This was a great cigar, the pre-light aroma and pull actually tasted and smelled a little bit like an opus, heavy raisins....
after lighting the smoke was much much different. Excellent cigar...
Solid foot to nub...great draw, burst of great flavors, will be getting a few more of these to sit a while...

Just finished a Cohiba Robusto. I enjoyed this cigar, but it didn't last as long as I hoped it would. Got harsh toward the end, probably because I smoked it too fast.
Oh well...I have 2 more waiting for me, so better luck next time, eh?
