After all I did to build him a new home!
Well last night I moved him into his new digs.
Climbing, nests, rocks, plants - the works!
This morning I go to feed him some watermelon
and the ucker bites my thumb

Well - no biggy I figure new place and well he is feaked out.
Well 4pm and my hand starts to swell up, then I break out in a rash!
Keeps getting worse - off to the doctors
Iguana poisoning! :?
They give me some shots  and some anti-biotics
& I got's to go back Saturday morning.
Trouble typing as my hand is all swollen
CC - The Lizard King!

Ouch  That sucks man. Maybe it wasn't happy with the way you decorated...you did say it might be female, right? :)
Feel better CC.

Bummer. I suggest flushing the inside of your system with copious amounts of alchohol and cigar smoke!

I've always liked iguanas. When I was on my honeymoon on St. Thomas, they were all over one of the beaches we were at. Some BIG ones too!

I've had Iguanas for many years (10)
I took one from My Mom's house that was my brothers.
It waas ill from lack of care, my Mom didn't like it and it was
in need. Well I took it to a vet and it had eaten something it should not of. Well I had already built it a home and got 3 more.
They grew to Giants and then started fighting.
One pair had started laying eggs & the big mail was trying to kill the other male. I gifted the one to a reptile education center.
The owner of the center saw my pair (that I kept) and wanted them bad! Well when I bought this Castle it had no heating system and I was worried about them getting sick.
Anyway - long story short - they are still living at the reptile center.
I finally got a new heating system & now a new Iguana.
I think I am going to get another one so they can keep each other company.
In all that time I have never had one bite me before :?
But now I have been infected & am starting to gain
super human Iguana powers!
I am planning on giving Spiderman a run for his money!

Sweet! So now we can send you into Cuba, you'll blend in with the exotic animals, and you can now bring us all back copious amounts of those fine island treats, without the hassle of customs!

Right on CC!

Ps - Do get well my firend!

Well the medication seems to be working!
The swelling in my hand is going down and the itching is about half.
I am going to put the last of the outside siding on the cage today.
Waynes coat if anyone knows what that is?
(pine tongue in groove)
Pictures to follow shortly!

You mean the wainscot?

Hey folks, I think Castle Crest is going to have to change his uniform. He's now . . .

Iguana Man!!!

But we can't call you I-Man, because that would get Don Imus VERY angry, and we don't want to get HIM mad.

How about Lord of the Reptiles????

Or Iguana Man - what ever works

"wainscot" - is that how it's spelled?

Can't spell, but the wood work looks nice.

Just have to trim around the door, finish staining the wood
& put some tile down around the sink and I am done

This has been one hell of a project!
OWE - and clean up my mess!
CC

Went out a got another Iguana today :D

I got a 3 footer, figured it would knock my 2 footer down a peg.
Teach him he ain't so big! :(

I'll take picture soon, Misa made me stop staining the outside.
Said the smell was giving her a head ache.
So I am watching poker and smoking a old Cohiba!

How old is the Cohiba, and how is the Cohiba? Congratulations on your new pet. You got some staining done, too. All in all, not a bad day.

As posted by CC:"I got a 3 footer, figured it would knock my 2 footer down a peg.
Teach him he ain't so big!"

I absolutely love that! Teach him/her who to mess with!

I've had a large Parrot for 22 years, so, I understand "biting the hand that feeds it" and, all those nasty traits. Regards

Recently I was driving in Costa Rica and an iguana was in the middle of the road. I swerved and almost ran off the road to avoid it. I look in the rearview and I swear the damned thing was smiling at me. True story.

Well Ruberneck, a.k.a Cory Bappert, Sales Manager for Cigar.com

Now that you brought it up I have no choice but to post a picture from your recent costa rica expedition. Dont worry it is probably the least incriminating one I have.

Guys when you order cigars from us, this is who some of you talk to on the phone.

To this day he wont tell me what he is looking at in this picture. :D
