Not everything is going to affect everyone the same way. When I eat hot sauce, I scoff at 200,000 Scovilles, and eat anything up to currently 600,000 Scovilles, while that's 10-20 times beyond a lot of other people's tolerance. Then there's the middle aged white lady who got curious about a contest taking place regarding a hot food extract known as The Source, at 7.1 million Scovilles. The various judges, both male and female had widely differing reactions, with one almost going to the hospital.
This curious lady walked up and asked to try the same amount that the judges had, the head of a needle dipped in this extract. She took it in her mouth, looked at the camera, said rather blandly, "it's hot," hesitated, screwed up her face as if to say, "not really," shrugged her shoulders and walked off obviously unimpressed.
Everyone's different, but there are a significant number of people in the cigar smoking population who have noticed that at times, perhaps often with certain cigar smokers, you'll suddenly feel the need to make No. 2 after smoking one. Nothing's 100%, this phenomenon isn't anywhere near it, but it's well above 0%, which is why folks bring this sort of thing up.
