Hello all from a new member,
I guess you could say that I am new to the cigar world. I was introduced to this wonderful world a little over one year ago (New Years eve 04/05 as it may be). Let's just say that it has been a wonderful year for me.
A little background info for the interested. I started with what remains to be my favorite smoke, Davidoff Special R. The high price tag has spoiled me to the limit and I have now recently started to explore less expensive means to the same pleasure. For example, Ancient Warrior, Ashton, Peterson, and another of my favorites, the Padron 3000 Maduro. Finally, I have just purchased, and smoked only minutes ago, the M1 by Cusano. I have been nothing short of impressed with every single cigar to this point.
My question is, am I experiencing a bit of beginner's luck? So far I have not been disappointed. Now, I know that I have been enjoying cigars which are fairly well praised and recommended by my local shop (thank you to Club Humidor in San Antonio and cigar.com!!!). I am just blessed with good advice or is there a "bad cigar" out there?
I guess my next question is, any suggestions for the new guy? Like I said above, the Special R is my favorite, but nothing so far has rubbed me the wrong way. Even the great bargain of the M1 by Cusano was very pleasing to me.
I look forward to reading all of your suggestions, cheers!
