Back when I didn't know any better, I saw A box of Cohibas that looked similar to that box. They were for sale in a public place for 3 hundred something. I watched several fed agents look at other items for sale all around the box and then move on. The whole scene seemed odd. I just figured the feds didn't care. Now I wonder if they knew what they were.

My son in laws , Step father picked up a box of Glass topped cohibias, for $55 .00 was so happy thought he made a killing , he was pissed when I cut one in half lenght wise & showed him it was cut filler & fake , BUT after 3 years in the humi they wern't a bad smoke , still not worth 55 for 25 cut filler smokes even if they were dbl.coronas . There needs to be some type of fake cuban hit squad formed to deal with trash like this that sell fakes. :lol:

Here is another one from a guy I deal with in Montreal: http://page.auctions.yahoo.com/ca/auction/94336269 They are making no pretence that these are Cuban, so where is the problem?
Can they not sell them legally as Dominican Cohibas???
I really want an answer as I was seriously thinking of ordering one of that second link.

& Cuba has never sold any cigars (except fakes) in glass top boxes.

As far as buying from an auction outside of Canada - there is always a risk of it being taken by customs and held for Taxes - I guess if you get 1 out of every 2 you order you are still ahead!

2-Bolivar Robusto Minor E 5.00 x 50
1st Por Larranage does not make a robusto.
They had 1 50 ring gauge cigar that they stopped making in the 70"s
I'd pay $2o a stick in a flash for these by the box!
2nd Bolivar does not make a Robusto Minor
the only 50 ring gauge is the Royal Corona -
also called Corona Extra & Corona Junior at different times.
These are 5 & 5/8th not 5.00 x 50

So far every cigar listed in all those eBay links has been fake. The first one, the Dominican Cohibas are fake. General Cigar only makes "Red Dot" Cohibas and any Cohiba that has a Cuban looking brand from any country other than Cuba is fake. Plain and simple.
Same answer for the second link that has Cohiba Pyramids that say they are made by General Cigar.
Third link. The box is for Bolivar Corona Gigantes. That's a Churchill size, but they are talking about robusto sized cigars. Which don't exist for these brands like mentioned by Mr. CC

The HCF is no different than any other group of guys who float around the different cigar BBS. I mean, even if you've had disagreements in the past with members of the HCF on other boards why would you make such a generalized statement about the entire group.
