CAO America

I have never smoked a Vision and I hear bad things about them, I'm just saying that I think overall CAO is still a good brand.

And that my friend, is the best avatar I have ever seen!!!!

Wow, I just realized I have not had a brazilia in a long time (maybe a year). It used to be one of my go to lines. I loved the cosacos fo a quick smoke and the Gol was just a good smoke all around.

As for the rest of the marca; they are hit or miss. I have had some and some bad CX2 and other cameroons from them. Not too much of the MX2 but what I had I liked. The Italia was hit or miss but mostly miss. I also found a lot of their cigars tight on the draw and prone to have me hot box the cigar to keep it lit. not great if you expect to smoke the whole cigar and not just the first third.

I do like some and not others also. I do enjoy the Cameroon, I am so so on the Braz but do enjoy the America. The vision I had was the worst. It was an OK cigar at best, the flavor was blah, the construction was ok but the wrapper had tons of veins like a cheap bundle smoke. I think the high cost was to cover the humi box with the rice burner neon lights. So I still smoke some of their sticks and I will try others but, they are not my favorite company.

The CAO Odyssey, one of those "coffin" cigars, with the accompanying hype and GIGANTIC price tag, was a cigar that came out during the last gasp of "The Boom." It sucked. I'll still try anything they put out, but there have been some flea ridden dogs in their various efforts. I'm glad they're still making the effort, though.

In my lifetime, I've seen some interesting phases that various products go through. I believe in being patient to a degree with manufacturers. If you don't get something right, eventually you'll go out of business. I believe CAO gets enough right for enough people so as to stay in business, and I certainly hope they keep trying. I'd like to like their cigars more than I do.
