That is a complicated question. For 8 months now they have been trying to develop a robusto. They developed one in early 2005 and it did not taste very similar to the corona but still a damn good cigar. Cigar.com did a pre release thing with cusano and sold a few hundred 5 packs to some lucky customers with a feedback form that was collected by cusano. The reviews were mixed. This prompted them not to move forward with that robusto and go back to the blending table.
They have just completed the newer version a few weeks ago and will debut as a 5 x 50 at the retail tobacco dealers trade show in august 7th in new orleans. They will be available for sale shortly after that.
I smoked the new robusto it was great and tastes like the corona, only in robusto form. Great cigar.
I still have some of the original blend release from earlier this year. I figure they are a nice collectors item. It is the blend that did not get picked. Personally I thought it was amazing.
Also being unveiled by cusano will be a cusano 18 double maduro. I have not seen this cigar but have heard a lot about it. Apparently the maduro wrapper they selected is special. Not sure on the details.
