Feel better Dustin - I remember getting mine out when I was a cigarette smoker - it was brutal going cold turkey when I was in pain. It'll pass my friend.

Day three, the pain is almost non-existint. I hurts to open my mouth wide and i am having a hard time chewing food. Last night I had a terrible fever. Otherwise I think the recovery is going quit well. All in all, i would not recommend getting your wisdom teeth pulled. Well maybe pulling wouldn't be so bad but mine were impacted and had to be cut out. Again, I would not recommend. Too traumatic.

The long term health consequences of not removing them can be pretty severe. As unpleasant as this experience was, you made the right choice.

djl4570, I know you are correct, I am just a wimp when it comes to the dentists office. In fact, the molars in contact with the wisdom teeth were in jepordy as well. By having them taken out probably saved the two molars as well.
BTW, they covered my eyes so I am uncertain if they used the Sledge-o-matic. I was too scared to try to look! LOL
