Fantasy Baseball

I won't be able to participate this year. Work will be very hectic, and I don't think I'd be able to spend as much time as I would. And besides, I still don't understand what "WHIP" is for. Kelvin refused to help me out on this as I started to beat him. :p

So, as reigning Champion of 2006, I will pass the crown over to the next winner.

Ok I bumped the draft back to March 31. A few people had mentioned that they were super busy right now and haven't had time to sign up. So sorry for the delay for those already signed up. We still have room for more, so PM me for details.

Fantasy Baseball is really easy and doesn't require much of a commitment. We all certainly spend more time on here each week then you'd need to put into your team. Its also really easy to learn, so don't be afraid if you don't follow baseball that closely.
 
I am glad to hear you bumped back the draft. I was going to have to miss it this afternoon anyways. Worked out great for me.
 
Ok, sorry I didn't notice till tonight, but apparently yahoo went ahead and autodrafted for us. I was hoping that a few others I has send email invites to would have joined, but since the league had an even # of teams, yahoo took over and drafted for us. Since there are only 6 teams they are all pretty stacked, so I don't think anyone will have any major problems with who they got.

Was stuck at work Saturday but looks like my team is pretty well stocked anyways. Was hoping for Verlander or Bonderman as a SP but oh well.

Looking forward to this.

Nice. Only reason I am rooting for the Yankees is because I have 2 of their players. By the way,

I had box seats game 7 of 2001 world series against the Dbacks, what a GREAT game.
 
I see we can do a little "trash-talking" on the site as well. Go Bluejays Go. I am not sure what team belongs to whom, it would be nice to see a list of the teams and linked to their amback handle.
 
I gotta say, I have always been a baseball fan, but this league is realy getting me started early. I normaly don't get into it to much until after Hockey and Basketball ends.
 
I suppose since ski season is pretty much over, I can change the avatar into the baseball mood now....

Me too, damn it's nice rooting for a team thats not the laughing stock of baseball anymore. Now if only the Lions could do something (fire Millen) the right way.
 
Anyone getting into the league yet. It is fun moving players around, and checking out your lineup!
