Second place baby! Absolutely thrashed corojobrad last week :lol: Travis Hafner is just racking up gaudy stats for me. I still can't beleive I picked up Barry Bonds a free agent, thats a few rbi's a week for sure.

This is a good time, few minutes spent every night and it's a lot of fun.
 
I'm riding a hot streek right now. With arod on fire, he just keeps on knocking in 2 of my players!!!
 
I'm doing the same with Hafner, hes on fire right now, same with Placido Polanco, not a home run guy but he makes contact a lot and doesn't strike out much at all. Another free agent steal by the way.
 
My favorite pick up to date is J.D. Drew of Boston, he is hitting behind Ortiz and Many, he will see a ton of good pitches!
 
Clemens back to the Yanks. The way they are hitting the ball he only nedds a 4.0 era to win games.
 
It's ridiculous what the Yanks are paying him. 4 million a month? Steinbrenner apparently still hasn't figured out that you can't buy a World Series.

In other news, Joel Zumaya is gone for three months. Ouch.
 
Anyone else having fun with this besides Cloudy and I? We had it out pretty good last week, and of cours I won :lol: :lol: :lol:

Good luck, Cloudy is sure trying to help you out this week. So far he is beating my A$$. Playoffs are what really maters though.

This is true...but with only 6 teams, we all go to the playoffs anyway... so essentially, the season only determines who get's a first round bye....I just want to be first out of principal....ha ha ha

It was a tough time heading down the stretch...and a well deserved first seed...I am currently 13.5 games back so unless you go 0-14 and I go 14-0 this week...not likely...
 
I'm ready for the playoffs...I'm just hoping that Ben Sheets makes it back to solidify my lucklaster pitching staff
 
Its super crunch time, I picked up Ian Kennedy for the night hoping he can produce something good, maybe get me back in the fight.
