From 8 foot the first step would put you at 4 foot From there I could reach the door. With one more step you would be 2 feet from the door and then even the one armed man could reach the door. My feet are exactly 12 inches long so anything closer then 1 foot I would in all actuality be through the door already. Unless of course this is some sort of twilight zone door where your feet got smaller the closer you got to the door then maybe this would work better. Or maybe this was from an episode of Star trek where cap Kirk meet a guy from some planet without a name but maybe had a number and then the guy that lived on the planet all by himself was really a few million years old and had made a ray gun to torment the guy in the landing party with the red shirt you know the one that always has something bad happen to him. Maybe he got hit by the ray and with every step towards he door he shrunk by half thereby making the distance actually greater with each step he would be walking his whole life and never get to the door? But maybe he could walk backward and be back to his normal self unless the ray worked backwards to then he would grow by half every step he took away from the door WOW if he did that how long before the planet could not hold him?
Well I guess thats to much to think about right now I got stuff to do..
