Gurkha Cigars

maybe im just wierd, but ive had 3 ghurka cigars and each one of them i didnt care for.

well, uh, you ARE weird.

I had my first Gurkha Expedition yesterday, and I really enjoyed the stick. Go figure.

Someone already posted it in this thread, but it seems from what I have experienced, people either really like or really dislike the gurkha's. It's one of those lines that really does not seem to have any in between following. For example, the Fuente's series stuff, you have some folks who love the short stories but don't care for the opus, or Rockey Patel is a great example of this for me, I love the vintage series but don't care for the sungrowns at all!

To each their own, I'll take them off anyones hands! :D

Hey James I could suffer and take any left off your hands. You wouldn't even have to pay to ship them to me

I love the Centurrian XX. I wish I would have jumped on the Christmas special but alas I didn't have the funds so close to the holidays.

Mee too. I'll smoke anything else Patel but don't care too much for the Sun Growns.

I really love the Gurkha Regent. Deep, rich flavors and good construction. Before this cigar, I had never really enjoyed a habana 2000 wrapper until I discovered this one. I also really like the Gurkha Legend Anniversario, awesome size and really smooth and tasty. Although, I have to say that in my exprerience with them they are a bit temperamental as far as construction.

James is not alone though, although I love Gurkha, I have friends that just aren't into them.

love the gurha series i am lucky enough to have a special one that was given to me. its a gurkha that is specially blended for cigar dave the radio host. its his own blend :D

I have a box of the K Hansotia Triple Ligeros, or G3's. Strong smoke but needs more time to rest. If anyone is interested in a few, I'd make a trade.

Have had a couple so far, but have many more in the humi.

Liked them quite a bit.

I have a five pack of them (a recomendation from CI associate) I am letting mine rest too.

I've had a couple so far. A Legend "Beast" and a Signature 101 Churchill (on sale at cigar.com). Both were good, and the Legend was very good.

Still, they're expensive, and I've had a few other less expensive sticks in mind I liked better than the beast- particularly the Camacho Coyolar Titan, La Gloria Cubana R #7, and CAO Brazillia Anaconda.

Buy more? Sure. I'll at least try some of the other lines eventually. Buy a box? Probably not, unless the Legends end up on sale or I really like one of the other lines that I haven't tried yet.
