HOW CAN YOU TELL IF YOUR INHALING OR NOT?

the point of smoking a cigar isnt to get a buzz, its to enjoy the flavor. the point of smoking cigarettes is to get a buzz, the best way to do that is to inhale the drug. pretty soon people will be taking nicotine straight to the vein if cigarettes ever are made illeagle.

Exactly. Why inhale? It ruins the flavor, there is no buzz, and it doesn't give you a fix.

I tried blowing out through the nose off CC's advise. I'm glad I was sitting down when I did it. I did get more of a flavor, that flavor was burning.

Ahhh well, maybe it's just not for me.

Yeah - it takes practise!
I only do this with the very finest cigars - but there are others that
do this all the time!

Hey CC, being that you only do it with the very finest cigars...you must do it all the time

To fully appreciate the flavors of a cigar, it is recommended to exhale some of the smoke through your nose. In the beginning it will burn your nostrils, but after time you will get used to it and enjoy it. It is the only true way to judge the strength of a cigar.

you get a buzz from smoking tobacco, after a long time of cigarette smoking its not a buzz anymore, its just feeling normal because without a fix you are all feending for a cigarette.

I'm glad I got away from that crap when I did. Still, I'm sure 7 years of cigarettes did some damage to my lungs. I have definetely felt better in the morning since quitting my pack and a half a day habit...I just wish my dad would finally go with cigars exclusively over his fancy shmancy imported cigarettes once and for all. But I guess it must be a real bi*** to quit after 40+ years

40+ years axegod?! wow....that is truly mind boggling...what fancy shmancy imported cigarettes does he smoke anyways?

When I used to smoke, I inhaled, be it cigerettes, pipes or cigars. If you don't inhale, why bother?

The whole reason for smoking cigars is for the taste, and the taste is sensed in the mouth, on the tongue, and in the nose, not in the lungs. The only reason to inhale, is to free base nicotene into the body. Inhaling IMHO would ruin the taste experiance of a good cigar.

He smokes Dunhill and Davidoff

I smoked for 30 plus years. Before quitting, it was a carton of cigs a week unless I was on my pipes, then it was 2 pounds of pipe tabacco (Harkness F) a month. A pipe is relaxing and aggravating at the same time. Tends to go out or need that carbon char removed from the bowl at the damnest times. FYI, cigs cost me $2.30 a carton at the commissary, about half the price of a pack today.

Worst good cigar I smoked was Travis Club. Made originally for members of an exclusive mens club by Fink Tabacco Co.
