Matt, my son, turned 18 on Feb 28 and Olivia was born Mar 31. And Matt graduated high school in June. So it has been a whacky beginning to 2006!

As for Aruba, there was a lot of drinking going on! :D

And Cuban cigars were plentiful! We may be going back in Nov this year and for sure next March or April. It is awesome there.

I am still having trouble posting a photo, dammmmmm, I keep holding it up in front of the screen & hitting copy but for some reason it isnt coppying it hahahaha !

Vince,
If you'd rather, we can use technology that you are more comfortable with...

maybe we can have a Wells Fargo wagon stop in to the 'Burgh to pick up the photo and deliver it to Bloofy...... :neer:

hopefully it won't be waylaid by highwaymen en route.... :2guns:

good Idea , but I did email him a picture all ready he just never got it posted , maybe I should ask my grandson to do it for me !
Enjoy, Vince

When did you e-mail me a picture, Vince? To tell you the truth, unless you put something in the subject line, alerting me that it's not just another e-mail, I probably deleted it.

And also, everyone should keep in mind that my Moderator position is largely ceremonial. As we all remember, I asked for, and took a seat in the back of the bus five months ago.

I don't have the knowledge or overall qualifications for the position of Moderator on any web site, and my life has been in extreme turmoil, building by the day, for the past year, so although you see me around, I'm only running back and forth to the computer, not really sitting here for hours doing work. I'd say that anything pertaining to the web site, other than telling me about a double post, or asking me a question about humidors in the wintertime, should best be addressed to another Moderator.

I sent it a long time ago, I will resend a new one of the skinny me , well not skinny but 200 pounds less than I was !

Not sure how I'd post that. Maybe this is something I should know, but that's why I went to the back of the bus, so others with more time and knowledge, and hopefully less negativity draining their time and life's energies could apply the proper attention to the forums. I'd check with one of the other Moderators. I'm more in the "driving interest" and "quick help on simple topics" department.

Sorry I can't be more helpful, but my life is a screaming mess right now, and I'm trying to hold it all together, and that includes two separate but very demanding family situations.

I Hope every thing works out for you my friend ! Enjoy, Vince

:eek:mg: CARDUUS!!! Wow, where ya been? Or is it just me? :dunno: Good to see you, no matter what. Actually, hanging in there is what brought my latest bout of trouble, a serious spinal injury, reinjuring an already compromised spine for the fourth time in the last five and a half years.

Folks, if you're going to hang in there, don't fall on your butt three feet to a concrete floor. :cryinlaugh: :rotflmao: :duh: :duh: :duh: :flush:

had you fallen on your head you might not have gotten hurt ! hahahaha Enjoy, Vince

I've taken enough hits to the head also in my life. One of my biggest problems has been the tendency to bang my head. This time, I fell with my knees up to my chest in a leg raise to get a full spinal stretch, right on to my skinny, still pretty athletic ass, severely impacting the tops of my femurs, and causing displacement between L5 and S1. I was laid up for two days, am in a lot of pain, and back in frequent chiropractic treatment, just as I had gotten to a point where I was better than I'd been in many years. Here we go again. :dunno: :duh: :grumble:

I had x-rays, because of my age, and to see what exactly happened, and am very fortunate that nothing was broken. It's bad enough without it. And that's just the tip of the iceberg as to what's going wrong in my life right now.

Oh well, you know what Curtis Mayfield said:

"Got to keep on PUSHIN'!!!"

I have three bad discs from a car accident so I know how it is. Hang in there Bloof. It does eventually get better.

Unfortunately what I did 28 years ago never got better, at least not to the point that I was able to become whole and well again. If you saw me walking down the street today, or working in my yard, shoveling snow, etc., you'd think you were looking at a well-built, healthy and fit man who looks about ten years younger than his true age. You'd be right for thinking that, but the damage I did in 1978 left me far less than what I was and would eventually have been, including destroying any chance for a pro athletic career.

The four reinjuries in the past five and a half years haven't helped, but indeed, I should be able to at least rebound to where I was prior to January 11, 2001, when the first of the reinjuries occurred. My chiropractor, who knows I'm having money problems, has told me to just get in twice a week until we have me over this latest problem, and we'll worry about the money down the line. That really helps, because I sure do need the treatment.

I damaged L4,5, C6,7 & S1, in a fall at the post office about 95 or 96 , went to the chiropractor 3 times a week for about a year, never did recover & we were hit from behind one Friday evening
( Barb was driving ) I was shall we say feeling no pain at the time having just finished a weee dram or 2 maybe 3 & a 1926 Padron Anniv. torp., we were stopped to make a left when WHAM hit from behind, needless to say back to the chiropractor 3 times a week for a few months , I still go for a tune up when ever I need it, about 2 times a month. "I feel your pain" !
Castle Crest, thanks for posting the photo , yep thats me at 215 pounds , in my favorite room,( next to the bed room & bathroom)
