a few friends and i were getting together in gisonia and then heading an hour or two north to go off roading


we got the jeep stuck. it was ugly, but fun.

this is the first thing ive done since i got back. I still have a thin coat of mud on my face and arms.

Any time you can get dirty is a good time for sure!!

if you were in Gibsonia you were just a few miles from me , I lived there when I was a little kid , it was so far out in the sticks then we had an out house , I do remember the HUGE Buckeye tree in the yard , & the hand pump outside the kitchen door , Dammmm that was a long time ago , I might have to take a ride & take a look at the old place,

I dont belong to the akron cigar club. I Was thinkin about it but i dont know if it would be worth my while.
the forum usually gets me my fill of cigar goodness.


Gibsonia has come a long way since then. its fairly well built up. my friend is just off the turnpike back in the neighborhood behind the Donut connection. BOut 1 1/2 hours drive from Akron

I have met a few of the guys from the Akron CC , seam like a nice bunch of guys, I have posted on there web site from time to time , , we have a cigar crawl hitting a few places in Ohio , like cordys & havana house , it will be the third weekend in May 07 , it is a great time about 40 cigar smokers on a BIG @$$ bus , smoke pouring out of the roof vents & we hit 5 or 6 shops during the day, the shop owners love it, 40 cigar smokers all with a pocket full of dead presidents & plastic , hitting you store all at the same time !
but I digress, the next time your in the area you should stop , I am about 5 minutes from thr turn pike & I 79 interchange PM me for the phone , the Qtr.Deck is ready, the a/c is on for the summer & the heat in the winter, we are a full service rest for cigar smokers, I supply the coffee & the single malt , bring your own Beer I dont have any ,I stopped the carbonated beverages a few years ago, & flat beer just isnt for me !!
