Hey now

New poster, cigar smoker for about 7 years. I took up the habit when I was building my Kobra Kit Kar. I USED to buy from Thompsons then I found this site while looking for some cigars online. There ain't too many cigar shoppes in my neck of the woods. Found I like the Cigar.com Cubans and Cameroons. I also like the Cusano M1 as well as the Cusano 18. The Flor de Oliva bundles are a nice choice. I particularily like the option of buying singles as well as the sampler packs, lot's of selections! My humi is looking pretty spiffy thanks to Cigar.com

Welcomd Dirt Cowboy, I think you will enjoy it here there is a great bunch of people on this forum!!

Howdee DirtCowboy!

Montana is one of my very favorite states, spent my honeymoon there as a matter of fact.

Welcome to the clubhouse!

Hey BP, when were you in Montana?

We went to Kallispell on our honeymoon too, and the Going to the Sun Road. Totally awesome!!

Liked it soo much, I took the kids there in 2004.

Last time was in 1989 (honeymoon; I can't BELIEVE how old that date makes me look!)

We spent time in Kalispell too!

another new guy

Hi, my name is Brad, I’m an alc… sorry, wrong forum. I’m Brad and I like cigars. My journey into “real cigars” started about five years ago. Before that, I was a heavy cigarette smoker and had smoked the occasional King Edwards, El Producto and Swisser Sweet just to fit in (or so I thought) when I was with other cigar smokers. Little did I know they were laughing at me for smoking these nasty things. Anyway, one Saturday afternoon in April 2001 at a wedding (girlfriends friend from work) I was bored because I did not know anyone, so I went out to the cigar bar where I was promptly offered a Cohiba red dot corona. That was a good cigar! I decided to stay outside for another, and another. By 10:30 or so, I had had several cigars, made some new friends and had no idea that my gf went home at 7:00. She called and broke up with me the next day. Said I was rude for not staying inside with her and maybe that’s true but – oh well. This is getting kinda long so I will jump foreward to the here and now. I have not had a cigarette in over 4 years and I still have a place in my heart for the Cohiba red dot. However, I have developed a taste for the more spicy and bold flavors – hence the name corojobrad. Some of my favs are Cusano Corojo ’96, Partagas Black, Hoyo de Mont. Dark Sumatra, Rocky Patel Edge Corojo, Rocky Patel Vintage ’92, and CAO MX2 – in short, if its maduro or corojo I will like it.
On a side note, Capt. - best wishes to your Dad, my thoughts and prayers to you and yours.

CorojoBrad, thank you for the kind words and welcome to the forum. If you like corojo wrappers, you are a perfect candidate for the Camacho Diploma.

Also to Dirtcowboy, welcome to the forum. I too am a big fan of the Cigar.com Cameroon and Cuban label.

Welcome, corojobrad!
