Bob - if you're really interested, for $56 you can catch a Greyhound bus from Altoona to Pittsburgh. Leaves on Sat Oct 8 at 1:50 and gets to downtown PGH at 5:40. Leaves Sun Oct 9 at 11:35am and gets to Altoona at 3:20pm
I don't know if you've ever done the bus before or not, but it's not too shabby - you have the express route which means only 1 or 2 stops.
I've done it from Penn State Main Campus before and didn't mind it...
If you do think that sounds good, I'm sure one of us could pick you up and drop you off...

I don't have a problem with an 18 year old drinking as long as they act responsible and don't drive. (and aren't an idiot drunk)
I come from NY state where the drinking age was 18...in the early 70's I was sitting at a bar at 14.
