I am looking for a good 20 -30 minute smoke. any recomendations?

IMO 20-30 is pretty quick for a complete cigar but I also like the Fuente Exquisitos maduro (naturals are pretty nasty IMHO) and the Punch Champion. The Champion is more like a 45 minute. Less than a robusto though.

chris....the absolute best short smoke for your money bar none is the 5 Vegas Series A

Anomaly 4.5 x 44

read what someone said about this stick

Anomaly: a small, 4.5” x 44 petite corona – when putting this cigar next to the rest one mighty think it'll have the least amount of flavor. But the amazing part is, after reviewing each size over and over, I constantly find this size to be the spiciest, and fullest (in both flavor and strength) of the 5. Instantly upon lighting one up, a fiery assault of pepper hits the palate leaving your taste buds tingling after each puff. Although enjoyable, this assault tones down a bit, giving way to a rich toastiness, reminding me of the seared edges of a well-done steak. Weird, I know, but it's good nonetheless. Especially considering I like my steak as red as possibly. About midway through, an unexpected nicotine buzz relaxes me and fills my belly, leading into a robust (but oh-so smooth) finish filled with an explosion of rich, toasty notes and spice. A delicious and satisfying 20-minute investment of your time.

What about those tin things that they sell at the shop. They tell my they are real cigars but I don't know.

I too like the Fuente Exquisitos - though the Short Story is nice too

A Fuente Hemmingway Short Story is a nice 20-30 minute smoke.

20-30 minutes is still not enough time for me to enjoy a short story. I take about 45minutes to an hour for that smoke. I like to really take my time with my cigars. As for those tin thingy's, I love the CAO Brazilia Cariocas. Great little smoke; but some of them have had draw issues fo me.

I agree. I don't think I have ever finished a short story in under 30 minutes. 45-50 minutes is more like it. Try the Cohiba Pequenos. They are great little cigars, and last around 25-30 minutes.

Fuente Exquisitos, hands down.

I started looking for alternatives to the Exquisito and found the Consuegra #574 in the same size range, but it is a bit milder. And cheaper.

The Punch London Club is a fairly good short smoke. I recently did a taste test of sorts with a Punch Magnum and the London Club and actually preferred the London Club.

now for the reason behind the question. I do not smoke everyday, I do not have the time, usually three to four times a week. When I do have time it is when my son goes to bed. I am not one to stay up late since I work a five am. so when I do lite up I can't smoke just half of it, I have more respect for the cigar then to waste it. I need a smoke that every now and again can be a quick thing. I do not want to sacrifice taste, so if I am not enjoying it I don't want to smoke it because it is small. I might just have to be tired. I am going to look into the ones that you all have suggested. Thank you

I have five Maduro Exquisitos in my desk, right now. I'm gonna look into the consuegra #574 and the Punch London Club.

p.s.
It takes me over an hour to smoke a Short Story.

Brenda,

Just look in your mailbox in 2 or 3 days. Never know what you'll find in there.

For some reason, I hear the Price Is Right announcer's voice in my head, saying " a Newwww CAR!"

The London Clubs are decent, I bought a box last September. If you like Punch, you will enjoy these.

Sounds like the beginning of an experiment Chris. You will have to report back to us on your results. I too am looking for that short smoke, what I usually end up doing is just leaving it out in my smoking shed to come back to later. The best one I had for that was a CAO black Mosaic. Just my 2 cents worth.

I will post results,, times and such and of course the ones that I like the most.

Does any bodyknow were I can get a short story..everybody seems to be out of them.
