Son of Blind Box Pass

Red,, for me that is alright. It gives you a chance to try something else, I think it is up to the group.

The Vengeance by RP is about $5.50.

Red, I think an Opus would be about a fair trade for a Centurion. They're both rather rare and the Opus retail is less than the Centurion. When you pay cigar.com prices you're paying for the rarity, not value. But that's me.

Dean, the random order idea sounds fine to me.

Redleg,

Your plan sounds ok to me. I certainly don't get hung up on matching costs down to nickles and dimes.

The reason for setting cigar.com prices as a guide is because it's something we all have in common. I don't usually pay the prices listed there either because I shop for bargains everywhere.

 Ok, for my revised take I'm selecting the Osceloa Robusto instead of the Perdomo Estate Selection Monstro.

Just making sure that evryone feels I am being on the up and up. That way I can continue to play in the raindeer games.

Cheers
Martin

Red, let me know what you think of the Opus when you get around to smoking it. When you do smoke it, make sure it gets 95% of your attention...the other 5 leave for your drink :)
It's from a box I picked up in February '04 so it's a little over 2 years old.

Got the box from RedLeg0811 yesterday afternoon. Everything looks good. I'll make my takes and puts and get both boxes underway asap.

Things have been a little tight around the homeplace lately. my wife has been having back problems and finally had to take her to the doctor last Tuesday and then for an MRI that nearly killed her since she had to lay on her back. I've been fortunate enough to have a job that allows me to work at home if necessary so I've been doing that and trying to keep her comfortable. She was able to go back to work today so we'll see how it goes. I was able to get out of the house for about three hours last Thursday ... to take my daughter to the emergency room with a hurt elbow. They said it was dislocated and put her in a splint. Then they called Saturday and said they had reviewed the x-rays again and that she has a fracture and is now in a cast for the next 10 days. When it rains it pours I guess. Then there was tax day. There goes all my extra cigar money. I'm down to what I have in my pocket for a couple of days.

Good luck Dbrad4d, I love when life throws us it's little curves that we never see coming. I hope that your wife and daughter feel better soon.

Well I have finally heard from BP. Here's what he had to say:

Dave!

Thank you for your email!

I am sorry to have been away; our company is in a massive (for us) expansion and things have been very crazy (75 working hours a week minimum) and I have only had time to quickly scan the forums.

I had better bow-out of the pass, (as well as the Birthday Pass:( ). The restraints on my time will keep me from participating the way I should, darn-it. (At least until October)

Thanks again for the email, I hope you are doing well!

Big Paintbrush

So he will be out for the second leg of the pass. I think that this is his busy time of the year with the paint ball business.

Dean,

I am sorry to hear that your family is going through a rough spot. My prayers are with you and your family that everything turns out right.

Martin

Dean,
Sorry to hear about the turmoil at home. It will get better. God Bless and good luck. gary

Dean,
Hope things start to get better soon.
If you need anything just ask.

-Jeff

Thanks for the thoughts guys. My wife is going in for one of those spinal pain block things Friday morning. Maybe that will give her some relief.

 I will do my best to get both boxes packed and shipped Friday since I will be off.
