Today's smoke

Bahia Maduro Poncho - not a bad smoke to start the day. Affordable and pretty consistent.

Guerra habano robusto Nice cigar but a wee strong for the morning- I do love cigars with that pigtail head. I believe these are made by Pinar Del Rio.

Gurkha Viper churchill _ Interesting story on this one. I have this cigar from different years and the cigar is not the same. Back in 2012 it was round a lighter in wrapper, then around 2013 it was a darker wrapper and box pressed.
Today's smoke was the latter and the five pack said it was Dominican and made by Pinar Del Rio. It was not a good cigar, but better than the last box press I tried from another buy. I have some of the lighter wrapper round ones from 2012 or earlier and I will be smoking one of them soon. This may be a case of a brand and make being remade under license and called the same as the original.

Garo Double Maduro robusto - Not bad, but nothing to really write a review of. Just another yard gar.

PDR Reserve Limitada Exclusivo - not a bad cigar to smoke before lunch.

Pinar Del Rio 1878 cubano especial CT toro before lunch nice smooth mild cigar.

Black Ops Maduro torpedo- Not as good as most of them I've smoked, and they are not a great cigar, but certainly better than many..

Garo double Habano torpedo - mild enough to smoke before lunch, but not good enough to put on future buy list.

La Perla Habano Classic toro - not as good as the last one I had- could be me.

Yesterday - La Estrella Cubana 'E' toro - crappy looking wrapper leaf, but no other issues.

Partagas Serie S perfecto - decent smoke, but not one I will be looking for more of.

Leon Jiminez Imperiales maduro belicoso - nothing special, but not a bad smoke

Arturo Fuente Curly Head Deluxe - with a little plume, but still not a great cigar.

Bohemian Bamboo big sur - Big Cigar. First 1/3 had a sweet taste which faded a bit through the rest of the cigar. This one was a couple of years aged and better than others I have smoked. It's not unusual to bump into a good cigar among the general crap Victor Sinclair produces, but unlikely that others of the name will measure up.

Fallen Angel - not much of anything to talk about and not a cigar I would buy again.

Ave Maria Immaculata bellicoso - Not much of anything after the first few puffs, mild and unremarkable. May be the air ball of the line.

Reposado 96 Solomon CT- Not much of a cigar, but the last two cigars were smoked after some hot enchiladas last night and my taste buds may be in recovery. I've heard it was a decent yard gar.

Gurkha Titan - bigger cigar not bad but not special. Did have some tunneling problems, but it was a bit humid out today.

Foundry Chillin' Moose Gigante - Big cigar with a little flavor.

Kinky Friedman the Governor - Ok for a yard gar, but out of production and probably hard to find if anyone wanted to. I took 2 of them up to Maine on my June trip and smoked them with my stepson. They kept going out on us, but no problem with today's smoke. Kinky has a new line out now in a partnership with a shop, I believe.
