Valentine's day plans

Sounds good, Joe. To be honest (I am no expert here) I think most women are more conserned with the fact that you took the time out of your day to do something special just for her then they are with WHAT you actually do. (My fiance is happier with something simple that I do myself then if I spend a ton ordering flowers or something) Do it from your heart and you won't go wrong! ....look out Dr. Phil...lol :D

As long as thought goes into what you do. Think of what she likes. Favorite singer's record on the player. A nice clean house with candles and maybe draw her a bath? Just pamper her. She'll be happy then, you'll be happy.

Go to her favorite salon, and get her a gift cert. for a manicure and a peticure. It will be something just for her, and should make her feel great. I you have the money, you could add a haircutt, or a facial. A whole day at the salon can be very expensive.
And Spider is right, it is the effort, not the gift. When times were tough and it was hard to afford a card, searching for the right card that meant something, or said something about the two of you can be a winner too. I alway search for the right card for my wife, and she always appericiates it. good luck
