I am reading Lord Foul's Bane by Stephen R. Donaldson. It's the first book of the Chronicles of Thomas Covenant the Unbeliever. Great set of books.
Well, right now I am reading the newest Orson Scott Card novel. I just finished a nice historical work entitled "1776". Before that I reread "Starship Troopers". Also this year I have read "The time Machine", "Boston's Gun Bible", "Molon Laabe", "The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich", several westerns (Zane Grey, Louis L'amour, and Max Brand), Several of the original Sherlock Holmes stories, The two most recent Larry Niven books, the seventh Dark Tower book, "State of Fear" by Michael Chrichton, "The Phantom of the Opera", and I dont remember what else offhand. I like to read a lot, sometimes serious stuff, like history and classical literature, and sometimes just fun stuff, or whatever I happen to put my hands on. I just went and bought $100 worth of books at B&N a week or two ago, and I have a huge list on amazon that I have been meaning to buy, but just havent got around to ordering (been spending all my money on guns and ammo!).
Haven't had much reading time lately. The last serious read for me was "Unintended Concequences" James Ross...good read.
Am thinking of the "hitchhikers giude to the universe"...alot of people have loved it. Sounds like something I'd have fun with.

Tombstone...Ever try to read trainspotting outloud....The dialect is amazing and true to voice...I think that is what really added a lot of dimension to the voice of the story, really gave it an authentic feel
