How right you are , you cant get it in Germany, will not pass the purity laws there, NO RICE IN THE BEER ! , water malted barley hops & yeast, thats all that is needed to make beer .

Tonight BigTom had the following: tortolini with sausage, bottle of Chilian merlot for dinner, Lemoncella for desert, Perdomo Estate selection Royal, that is the cigar, and a couple of glasses of tawney Port. night, night!
 
Dammmmmm I wish I could eat & drink like that, But no more, tonight I ate a slice of Pizza & had a cup of coffee ! but I did have a fine Mombacho churchill No wine, no scotch, but I plan on making it up when I get some company Wed.Night !!

Mmmm - beer. Went to an Irish pub - Guiness, Murphys Irish Red, and a beer called Old Speckled Hen. With a name like that, how could I NOT try it? It was actually very good - similar to Boddingtons. Topped it all off with a dram of Tullamore Dew
 
Old Speckled Hen. Not bad. Had a couple several years ago. Certainly much further up the line than Pud or Swiller. :thumbsup:
 
Last night, I sipped Bushmills Black Bush and puffed a PSD4. It was a lovely night.
 
just got home from the DR, I've been drinking so much rum, if I cut myself, I can just add coke and have a tasty beverage!!!!

Niiiiiiiiiice combination there. I'm hearing more and more about this Glenlivet 18, and a friend of mine is having a birthday today, so perhaps I'll pick up a bottle of that for him.

the 18 is very nice, so is the 15yr french oak reserve, its a little less expensive but is very nice. the 15 yr has become my around the house scotch, its a considerable step above the 12 and still reasonable
