What Movie Did You Watch Last Night?

Classic tonight on TCM- I Remember Mama. Great movie with one of my favorite character actors, Oscar Homolka.
I even remember the TV show, tho I was only a little kid when it was on.

Watched "Defiance" with the kids last night. Intense and well acted movie. Daniel Craig is really a hell of an actor. Not sure how much of the movie was actually true - but damn - I would watch it again. Highly recommend it.

Me and the mrs went to see The Great Gatsby at the iPic Theater in Austin today. The cinematography was excellent but the storyline didn't do it for me.

A Walk in the Spring Rain-1970--OK, should have been better with Tony Quinn and Ingrid Bergman in it.

Bigger than Life 1956 - sort of OK, an early film for Walter Matthau in a supporting role.

The Bad and the Beautiful-1952- Despite a host of good actors of it's day I thought it was less than average quality. Could be that I really don't like Lana Turner at all.

Last Call-1990- Soft porn with a strange script that was weak in introduction and conclusion. Below average IMHO.

The New Guy-2002- a comedy that in older times would have been called a "B" movie and would have been popular in drive-ins.

Lakeview Terrace- 2008- Didn't care for this one

The Mill on the Floss -1997- Brit film that went on and on.

Mixed Nuts-1994- Poorly rated and I'm not a Steve Martin fan, but I enjoyed this movie with a great comedic cast.
