Where is BigTom?

Tom. It's not Ouzo. It's a Middle-Eastern Liquor. My father and grand-father use to make it in the basement of our house in a still. I think it's made from raisins. Before you add water to it, it is well over 120 proof. Not sweet but dry. My father use to sell it by word of mouth to the Syrian and Lebanese community in Boston until he got caught. I can't remember the name.

There he is again! He's like a bad dream!

Hey Rick-y-boy! What's shakin'?

I didn't realize you were on this board!

Rick is a "redneck wannabe" who grew up in Boston, and now lives in Dallas! Go figure! :D

Hey Teeny Tim!

Do they let "Redneck Hillbillies" in this forum?

Just for that, I'm not coming to your smoke out in Columbia. Now, go sell a forklift.

OK Rick, I will in Dubai for a day and a night. I will look in the Duty Free Shop on the way out. They don't have any liquer stores in the UAE.
I always enjoy a GOOD threadjack especally from a fellow Democrate.

Hillary for President !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

By the way, if in case you haven't read about my prediction, here it is, and remember you heard it here first. Hitlary wins in '08 with 58% of the vote.

BigTom, put down the cigar! Apparently you've gotten hold of some BAD TOBACKY!!!! You just wrote "Hillary for President!"

Obviously you're not currently in your right mind!! I'm sure you'll be fine once you finish 2 bottles of bourbon...consecutively! :D

I agree with Tom. Hillary's going to take it. If she doesn't some other Democrat will. The Republicans are finished, one fiasco after the other, corruption, lies, falseified info, an Iraq war that should not of happened.

Hey! they can always get jobs a lobbyists.

Yes Tim, you are right, WAY RIGHT, I have not had a Bourbon for two weeks. :( As soon as I get off of this Boat I will try to make up for the chemical imbalance. :p For now I am stuck here. The job is complete. There is nothing left to do. I am waiting for another boat to come by and take me away.

Tom

OK, Back to more serious stuff, and the continuation of the Saga:

Tomorrow, Eight hours ahead of the east coast, at 0500 everybody will be awoken. Breakfest will be "served" on the Flight deck by the Royal ShellBacks. We have crossed the "line", Equator for youse not familiar with the tales of the sea. It is a day of initiation for those who have not crossed the Equator on a Navy ship (Polywogs) by those who have (ShellBacks). Skits, costumes, lite hearted torture, general fun and games. Davey Jones, King Neptunus Rex and all the royal court have arrived and the fun has started.

What the heck is BigTom talking about? Me thinks he's found the bourbon already!!!

I'll never forget the day I became a shellback. The Navy guys came into our berthing area dressed up as pirates making all this noise! Whata way to wake up! I'll never forget that.

I have been to the sandbox in Dubai, a place called Jebel Ali. Got some Cubans there.

Have fun

It's an old Navy tradition for those who have not crossed the equator (pollywogs). They go through an initiation (given by the shellbacks) when the boat crosses the equator and the pollywogs become shellbacks.

your Right 6672. We set sail from Jebel Ali about 9 days ago. :( Sand Box ar no sand box I am ready to go back. 8) I am slowely working on a box and a half of fine contraband cigars that I stowed away. I only hope I am not forced to smoke Tim's cigar like I had to do to Bloofingtons. I sure do like Monty #2.
The initiations have started. There are pirate looking dudes all over the ship. I think I will go get some breakfast.

Jebel Ali......First place we had a nice cold beer in 4 months! Couldn't believe they had a Fuddruckers too!

When we first bought the Cohibas, they were really cheap. By day 3, the guy had raised the price by $400. What the hell did we care?; being on the ship and not spending money for months at a time, it was a pleasure to spend it!

The first day I bought a box for my friends and I, and a box for my father. We drank and smoked, and tapped into my fathers box. Next day, I went back to replace my old mans box, and it was already up $100. Same thing happened the next day! Needless to say my pops ended up with just a key chain from Australia when I got back!

Big Tom, have fun and be safe
