Well, growing up I remember seeing my dad smoke Swishers. When I got to be in HS one of my friends got in the habit of smoking them too, regularly; in fact he bought them by the box, and a box didnt last too long. I started smoking those when I would hang out with him.
Later on I wandered off the straight path and became a ciggarette smoker. I was lured by the social aspect there, but I also really liked the taste of those Camel 'Wide's, as well as the occassional pack of Dunhills, Davidoffs, or '555's. Eventually I got smart and quit smoking cigarrettes. That was when I started smoking hand rolled cigars. I dont smoke a cigar very often though really. Usually I will buy one on a friday night and go smoke it while playing pool or something similar.
I have tried H. Uppman, Montecristo, Partagas, Dunhill, Hoyo de Monterrey, and (my favorite at the time, but I havent had one in a couple of years) Bahia Gold Maduros, plus various others that I do not recollect.
This forum is going to cost me a lot of money though, since I keep hearing about all these other good cigars! Next thing you know I will be buying boxes all the time....
