Not that i'm an expert but I never heard of Mites(unless you are refering to Beetles) associated with cigars. That looks like a combo of mold(white stuff) wrapper discoloration(reddish brown spots) and wrapper damage from thicker toothy veins making holes from damage you may have caused from moving cigars around as you said. I could be wrong but each hole appears to be right ontop or beside a vein. I'll defer to someone else who has more experience to say the holes are caused by Beetles.

What you have there is a scary looking stick!!!....I'd smoke it though!!

beetles...that's what i meant...sorry...

Those white patches are mold spots. Did you keep that stick in its cello? Check your other sticks in your humidor, and be gentle with them.

I have never seen a cigar that ugly. Be careful when dealing with them, I would also check VERY close for mold on your other cigars

I was going to post this earlier - definitely go through your humidor and separate out any that may have any mold at all.

ill go thru the humi...it seems that only the torpedos from that 'A' sampler ended up looking like that....but ill make sure it didn't ugly up the others....

Awhile back I had some Cohibas that started looking like that
and it was because I set a baggie of crystals on top of them.
Blond moment, if I was a blond. LOL

Just another reason y I know keep the cello on my sticks.

im not sure the cello on the cigar would have prevented this.
... whatever this is.

most of the time when i have seen the mark of the beetles it looks like one round hole in the cigar. maybe two. ive never seen discoloration like this in my accounters.

... oh, and beetles chew through cellophane.

No offence, but that is one of the uglier cigars I have seen. How did it smoke?

hehe...i feel like a parent who took his child to church all messy and disheveled.

It actually tasted ok...i was a little distracted by taking the pictures and wondering if it was going to grab me to give a review of it...but i smoked none the less so it wasn't that bad.
