A favor to ask...

Hey, when I take cigars out of MY humi to give to someone else they're still gonna work for 'em--free or not!

Really I did it to cover up the labels that were on it since I stole it from my neighbors recycling.

Oh yeah, send that boveda pack with em all and they'll stay ready to smoke.

Did you open the coffin boxed one? Isn't it incredible? I bought a box of those at a charity event.

:rotflmao: :rotflmao:

Good times!

Thanks again, man.

I planned on sending that Boveda pack. Those things are awesome!

Yeah, that coffin one is pretty cool. I've never tried one. Are they any good?

Yeah. I had the Patel Vintage 1990 in that size. Its the same as the regular blend but the added length gives it a bit more kick. Or you can cut it in half and have two near robustos.

Just letting everyone know that the next package will go out this Sat.

Hey Devil,

Did my package get to you yet?

Thanks
Martin

I'm not sure. I haven't been home all week because I'm in San Diego for school. My wife said I got a package in the mail the other day. What did you send? She said there are 11 cigars in the box. Was that from you?

Devil, what school are you at in San Diego? We had to go to Pendeleton for our school.

I'm at the Career "Jammer" Course.
I graduate next Thursday.

You guys enjoy the Marine Corps? Ive put a lot of consideration into joining over the last 6 months. I have heard a lot of positives and negatives. I read a few books "Generation Kill" and "Jarhead" I dunno... maybe if Oakland PD doesnt hire me.

Rory, best five years of my life. It was the hardest decision I ever made to get out, and I still regret it. Good luck if you choose to do it, or if you go Oakland PD.

Devil, I know what you mean about those recruits! When I was in Miramar, we used to go down there every Friday for graduation. We would always see somebody getting thrashed in the sand pit!! Ha Ha!!!!

Rory,

I spent five years in the Corps also. It was the best thing I did and shaped who I am today. I did the cannon crewman thing which was hard core, but was able to make a laterial move in to computers, which got me the job I have today. I highly recomend the Corps, it is something I will always be proud of.

USMC,
When were you at Miramar and who were you with? It was my last duty station. I was there 97-98 and was a plank owner.

Regards
Martin

I think that is right.
The return address should have Martin on it with a Snohomish, Wa

That WAS your package that I recieved the other day. I'm looking at it now.
Some good stuff in there!

Thanks again, brother.

On another note to everyone, I just got an e-mail from my buddy the other day. He told me that he will be in Fallujah during the elections. He couldn't tell me much about what he's doing, of course, only that he'll be there.
Here's a picture of him with one of the cigars from the first shipment. He promised to send a pic of him in front of the Howitzers next time.

I'll be sending out the next package to him tomorrow.

Thanks again everyone!

I'll tell you what, brother...
The Marine Corps is most certainly a "way of life". I love every min of it and I thank whatever powers that be every day for allowing me to serve in this great branch. (Too over the top?)
Really though, I DO love what I do and couldn't imagine working for any other service or in any other job. Just make sure it's what you WANT to do. Too many people get in to it and realize that it's not for them then all they do for the next 4 years is bad mouth it. You'll get out of it what you put in to it, know what I mean?

Good luck with the Oakland PD and if it doesn't work out, give us a try!
