If you are talking about seasoning the case or humidor then yes you need to season it before you fill it with cigars and send it to Vince. Put a shallow bowl of distilled water in and close the lid for 3 days no peeky. Check it with a digital hygrometer until it holds around 65%~69% rh. Close the lid for another 3 days no peeky. Then if all is well fill about 1/4 with cigars and wait another couple of days. After that if all is well get some humi beads and set those in there and fill it with cigars. Then and only then send it to Vince. Hope this helps.

I've never seasoned my finger cases.
Anything I put in there is only there for a short time.
To be fair - I carry a large (30 count) travel humidor at all times.
I keep a few smaller cases (2&3) in the glove box.
If I'm stepping out to do whatever I put a stick or two in the small case and go smoke them.
So I'd say no unless this is a big weekend trip and you want your cigars to last 3 days - if so I'd think plastic baggy and use the case to protect them in your pocket when your out and about!
