Professionally, I smoke cigars, but on the side I....

My full-time job is as a State Marshal. We also own the Flag Store of CT, hence my screen name, which my wife and 2 employees help run. It's part time for me, but in April thru June it's like having a second full time job.

I work in beer sales for a budweiser distributor, before that I drove a beer truck sometimes still do to cover a vacaion or if someone is sick. While I dont think anyone smokes cigars 90% including myself "dip"

Cool. I need a new flagpole & mount for the porch. Also need a SC State flag, US flag and a Jolly Roger. Hmmmmm...we may have to talk. You have some really neat stuff on your site.

Up until recently I was a software engineer. I knew a few guys who liked an occasional cigar, but all the full-on BOTLs I knew back in Chicago I met at the local B&M.

Now I'm on semi-vacation until school starts in August. I've got a little work left to do for a previous client back in Chicago, though I'll just do that part time from my new home here in St. Louis.

I'll be starting law school in August. It'll be interesting to see how many mooks I meet when I get there.

I work in the IT dept. of a very large advertising agency and I'm the only cigar smoker in the group. Lots of cigarette smokers, though.

Well at the present time I guess I could say that I am a full time professional cigar smoker. I wake up have breakfast come in have a cigar while checking my email. Then maybe one before lunch one after lunch. Sometimes a mid afternoon one. Then a after dinner cigar and depending on my mood a post prime time cigar.

What a tough life, eh Travis? :grumble:

I would be happy to trade with almost anybody. Doing nothing sounds fun but after a couple weeks it ain't fun anymore. To me cigars are therapy. They relax me and give me some to look forward to. So far it is one of the few thing's I do that don't hurt.

I buy food. I used to be a Chef but now I am stuck behind a desk sending food all over the San Francisco Bay Area for catering parties. We just did 5000 people for the all star game. Yahoo is next week for another 5000. I am planning on a job change really soon. Working with sales people that have no clue about food has finally killed my spirit. If I stay and continue like this, I'm gonna be dead sooner rather than later. If I die, I'm gonna try and take my cigars with me.......

I work full time in manufacturing, I am also a part time student and I spend a good part of my free time volunteering with drug and alcohol addicts. I probably have two friends that smoke cigars. Go figure. Also, I've never noticed a correlation between professions and cigar smoking. I'm of the opinion that a lot of that is just advertising propaganda - ever see a guy in pair of muddy carhartts in the pages of Cigar Aficionado?

I'm the Director of Buildings and Grounds for a suburban Chicago High school district, about 3 k students. Others call in a Facility director, I have a staff of about 25 including my Administative Assistent. I oversee three departments, maintenace, custodial and grounds. We actually contract out the cleaning of the school on third shift. A large amount of my time is spent dealing with the large projects, both in-house and Capital improvements, working with the general contractors, my architects, budgets and bidding projects. There are many days that I wish it was not a non-smoking campus and I could light up a good smoke right at my desk
