Blind Box Pass, the original

Still 7 unclaimed...we all should have written down our puts...next time I do a blind pass I will conceal my name with the cigars I put, so the taker knows I put the cigar they took. What is the total count in the box right now anyway?

Well, I guess we learned something. :lol:

I did mark mine on my master inventory spread sheet. The only question I had after we got started was 'I know I put one of those in, but did someone else also put one in'.

I'm not sure how many are in the box now. Jhopephulle can let us know when he gets the box.

Right now, returning for Round 2 we have: Dbrad4d, RedLeg0811, Biggie Paintbrush, Phisherman, Cybrus, Bobberrific, Brenda, Wolfdaddy, jhopephulle, iminaquagmire, and Markus59.

As soon as I hear from Axegod, DevilDog, and Capt about whether they're in for Round 2 or not I'll know how many more we can add to the list. I'll hold the list to around 20 this time.
 
Will some of the sticks need to rest for a bit when they get back to you? This has been a long journey and I think that some of them might need some time in a humidor. Maybe we can give them two weeks rest before they go back out, or will you restock the box with new smokes?
 
I'll check them over good when I get the box. I'll post the inventory of the box and the condition of the cigars when I get the box. If there are any that need to sit in the humi I'll swap them out and keep the box moving.

I'll do my takes and puts and if I have to swap out any other sticks I'll post that too.
 
the BOX has arrived!!!! just so everyone knows there were 30 cigars in the box on arrival i took 5 put in 6 which leaves 31 in the box.

Well guys, I was sitting around last night drinking some Wild Turkey Rare Breed, which just happens to spawn some of my best (?) ideas. And it happened again, I got this idea.

One of the reasons to limit how many people we have in a pass is to keep the time span down so the box doesn't spend, say from November to February, on the road. There is the potential for the cigars to suffer some ill effects over a period of time, unless of course they are taken from the box along the way.

Anyway, my idea was this ... what if I take the box inventory we have now and add from my stash to have enough for TWO boxes and send one off to the west and one off to the east. Then we could have a few more players and no one would be waiting months for a box to get to them.

Give me some feedback. Hey, I did say my bestest (?) ideas come when I sippin' a little.
