You can just send it to me! That way you'll feel better...and I will too!!!

pns - it is another cigar board, a very good site, you will have to check it out when it gets up and running.

Bloof - good info. I had seen an A&E program awhile back in regards to a what if a hurricane hit NYC. Bottom line....hope that never happens.

Worse draught here in NM in like 100years, less than a half an inch of rain since October of last year. It has started raining in the last week, it will take several years of good moisture to resupply ground water reserves. It wouldn't take much to have the whole place go up in smoke.

NooMex Cowhand, NYC has been hit by four hurricanes that I can personally remember in my lifetime. I actually went outside my apartment building in Astoria, Queens one afternoon many years ago, and saw large old neighborhood trees uprooted and on top of cars. It was unbelievable, that even though it was only the edge of a Cat 1 or 2, just four miles distance from midtown Manhattan, I was looking at the minor damage from an actual hurricane.

Oh yes, and the one that hit NYC on September 21, 1999, also did minor damage here to the house I took over just months later, 70 miles north of midtown-Manhattan. For something even more bizarre, check General Discussion for my post entitled "It May Not Be Kansas, . . ."

That is one of the good things about living in the high desert, we don't see tornados, hurricanes or tidal waves.

We have extinct valcanoes and visits from aliens. Then of course we detonate the occasional nuclear weapon for good measure.

That's right. You're living in the land of El Chupacabra.

:cryinlaugh: :rotflmao: :pumpkin: :cryinlaugh: :cryinlaugh: :pumpkin:

Actually, when I went to visit my father in Puerto Rico in '98, it was all the rage down there, too.

:duh: :duh: :cryinlaugh: :sm_angel:  :cryinlaugh:

somebody is really F'n up the program.

This kinda issue s not good on forums. I was still waiting for the "new" (but down) site to catrch up with the original c-wise.

This is just going to be another set back. No way of getting around it.

Considering the last issues they had I wonder if the data they were trying to integrate had any other issues associated with it that could have F'd up the whole thing.

We're overlooking the obvious...again!

The Colonel pee'd on the server...again!!!!

Hey Bostnbill, now that you have a little free time with CWise down, go out and catch me a few nice lobsters and send 'em to me!

Do you remember that movie, Jack?

I Am Curious (Yellow).

The Yellow was because it was a foreign film, and at that time, they used a color coded system for rating the "audience appropriateness" across the lake.
