Court Today

wow all the big cities are full of a bunch of pussies. I walked out of my apartment this morning with my S & W sigma in my hand and leaned against my car while talking to a police officer about our apartments being turned into condos. All while holding my gun. It is legal to keep a loaded gun (bullet chambered) in your car as long as it is concealed. He knew i was carrying it from my place to my car so he never said a word to me about it. So glad i moved out of the midwest and into the south. Everythings better in the south! !

Here in the rural areas of Arizona we can walk right down main street with a loaded gun on our hip. There has been one murder in the city limits in the last three years. Always remember...

I totally agree. I think we should be able to ride around in armored vehicles and with machine guns, hand guns, whatever. How much violent street crime you think there'd be if law abiding citizens were armed to the teeth? And also, if we killed all the people in this country that need killing, i.e., murderers, child molesters, armed robbers, rapists, etc., there would only be a literal handful of people who were truly violent criminals. And I bet they'd be too busy pooping on themselves to think about crime. Time to get a real job. Ahhhh, but it won't happen in this "enlightened" society. :dunno: :duh:

When I lived on Long Island I was always shooting my BB and pellet guns in my yard. I even got away with using my .22 since it didn't sound like a gunshot. But then I made mistake of moving out west not too far from an elementary school So now I have to go out to the nearby hills to vent. I'm not complaining 'cause it gives me a chance to explore the area, but it was nice to be able to just go out back and make an example of a crow that decided to wake me Sunday mornings :lol:

How can they justify fining you without giving you your say?! That's ridiculous!!!

I'm not exactly sure about gunlaws in Toronto but I know for sure that unless you have a license, you can't carry a concealed weapon. And I really doubt they'd let you walk around carrying a umm un-concealed weapon either.

Btw, what model bbgun did they steal from you?

I do. You're pissed because it's wrong! Just because some ignorant lick-nob got bent out of shape, you got threatened with a deadly weapon (the officer had her gun drawn), libelled in the local paper, hauled into court and lost $75 plus your BB gun.

Oooh airsoft is really cool. A few of my friends are really into that stuff and they have fully automatic m4's and mp5's. The clip holds around 200 pellets so you can really tear stuff up! =D

They're awesome because the bb's don't (usually) break the skin so you can run around the house or backyard playing a suped up version of cops and robbers!

Bummer Thor! While Our house was being built we leased a house next to a nosy Biatch. My son and I were clipping the flight wings on our Yellow Nape parrot when he got away from my son and bit me to the bone (he doesn't care for a haircut), I yelled hold that SOB. Moments later there was a cop at the front door who said they had a call that there was a fight going on. I pointed over to the dining room table at Rocky (one same Yellow Nape) and said yes, and he has drawn blood and I want you to take him into custody. The cop smiled, apologized and went on his way. They reported you as a "man with a gun" which set up a potential tragedy for you. I would find some way to express my displeasure to them over time.

Living in the Southwest, in a very rural county, guns are about as much the norm as bumper stickers on your truck. I don't know of anybody that isn't packing. Of course if you drive into town and start firing off your guns you will attract some attention. I'm not sure many cops in my neck of the woods would consider a bb gun a firearm though. As long as your not driving around blinking windows.

That happened to me, except with a real rifle, different outcome.

We live in a rural area, (if there is more than 4 houses in a mile, it may be called a sub-division :wink: ) and there are a lot of ground hogs available for elimination. There was a farm about 200yds wide on a state highway with a railroad track running parallel to the highway. The ground hog had a place at the base of the railroad. I knew what was going to happen but I did it anyway. After getting permission from the owner, after work, I set up on a access drive about in the middle of the the farm. I was there about 30 minutes, till just about sunset, then the Brown Sherriff Deputy car pulled up. The officer got out of his car, I just sat there watching for the ground hog, he got up to my truck and asked if he had come out yet, I told him not yet and it looked like he probaly would not, then the second Sherriff Deputy car came up and he got out just smiling, they knew what was going on. But because some nibnosed ninny driving on the highway called, they had to answer the call of a man with a gun.

Its a shame that we now live in a time that even I stare at a person rabbit hunting along the railroad tracks. Maybe it is because we secretly wish it was us out there instead. (wistful musing over)
