Scotch, coffee, or a good, smooth beer.

I also enjoy a cup of tea with a cigar. Usually Earl Grey, but have also had good experiences with flavored teas, like raspberry.(this was wonderful with the c.com cuban label I had the other night.)

English Tea with a "cuban" cigar, so....does that mean you end up speaking Spanish with an English accent?

Quite a combo Spider. The best one that I like is just plain Soda Water, and eny cigar you can think of. I haven't done any of those other combos, but wait untill summer, I am going to try them that is for sure!

Most evenings on my way home from work, I just grab a bottle of Pepsi, or other soda to drink. While the taste is good with the cigar, I'd rather not have the cabonation

I love a good cup of Earl Grey, but don't mix it with cigars. Some things I like to enjoy the "pure" taste of.

Really, I most often have a beer, as my "cigar time" is just before bed, when I wind down.

Had my first bottle Negro Modelo beer tonight with another great mexican dinner

this beer is fantastic and went well with my Padron 3000

I guess the two best drinks I have found would be Diet Pepsi and Budweiser. I have never been a hard liquor fan.

Carduus, Follow the teachings of brother Vince and he will never put you on the wrong path. If you enjoy the pleasures of coffee and scotch, he will be an excellent guide to a wealth of knowledge.

I have not really tried coffee because I like it black and strong and it seems to over power whatever cigar I am smoking. Tea has worked good for me. Earl Gray is good with a Punch.

I drink Whisky, Scotch, Vodka, Brandy, Cognac, Cordials, Beer, Coffee, and Tea with Cigars. I guess this makes me an equal opportunity Epicurean...

Here's to feelin good all the time! :D

If you try a nice and full flavoured cigar with your coffee, I'm sure you will like it. Especially if it is good home roasted coffee, not that Charbucks crap. Here is a good combo to try; grab a CAO Brazilia line cigar with some green mountain coloumbian coffee. I think you will be surprised at how well the two go together.

I particularly like a Zinfandel (red, not white) with the stronger cigars. I'm really partial to this one:

Racho Zabaco Dancing Bull

Any of them work pretty well though. I find that the more powerful Zinfandel can really open up my taste buds and I actually taste more of the cigar than usual.
I bought a bottle and tried it last night with dinner. Nice.

Hey Vince, I see you've got Abbie Hoffman as your new avatar. Trying to revive the 60's???

:cryinlaugh: :cryinlaugh: :cryinlaugh:   :bolt:

Yeah, I'm a big fan - always have a bottle or two in the wine cabinet. It's also my go-to bottle if I have to bring a bottle to someone's house - not expensive but also a decent wine for someone who likes reds.

If you like Zin's, try Cline. Good fruit, not too dry, I had an 03 that tasted older than it was. One thing that I just cannot stand is a wine that tastes too young. It drives me up a wall.

I like Port, Root Beer, Beer, and Tea....

Tea is actually great with cigars, at first I didn't think so, but when I tried it, I was really suprised!

Club Soda though when I'm sampling or rating so flavors doon't interact with the smoke.....

Zin , Cab, all to hi brow for me, I am more of a ripple ot thunderbird man my self, with a little boones farm apple on the side or some tickel me pink hahahaha Enjoy, Vince

Carduus, this is just a little warning, brother Vince is very wise in the ways of consumption of Scotch, coffee, whiskey and cigars, and his teachings are good. But he doesn't speak for the rest of us when it comes to wine.

Vince,

Sorry, but I had to call you out on that last post. Boones farm?

:barf:
