Favorite cigar and drink

Although I like my coffee, and love my scotch, I'm pretty much and cold water on ice tea person when it comes to smoking my cigars. And favorite cigar changes practically daily.

what to drink

As much as I enjoyed my drinking days, I now favor water with my cigars. I hope it lasts because I enjoy life better with water and my cigars. Right now life is plenty intoxicating when I do it right. I don't need anything to cloud my mind. Must have been the shoulder operation.
Malone

For those of you Red Bull drinkers, don't look now but Paris Hilton drinks Red Bull like Billy Carter drank beer.

Punch Maduro and Bass Ale, or CAO Brazilia and Baverian Hoffenwiesen(sp) What got me hooked on Cigars in the first plase was a Padron 26 and a good Port

Recently, I've been lucky enough to have a bottle of 12 yr Macallan to enjoy my cigars with...if you get the chance, try a Bolivar #1 with a glass of Macallan...yummeh 8)

I took off of drinking for the month of June Malone....Have to tell you I really enjoyed the benefits after the first half of the month, some definate clarity.....

I have been trying to get more into tea nowadays...it's very subtle but I found it can be a great palate cleanser.....

Just had some Pu-erh tea today with a Padron 64 Torp Maduro....
Great Combo!!

Drink/smoke

Bowmore, Darkest. Islay single malt whisky, very peaty, smokey flavour, with any cameroon...so relaxing.
ps. no ice or water, in the malt. warm the glass in your hand (like brandy) to release the terrific aromas.

Signman, don't you find that a very peaty scotch ( I have Laphroaig) tends to overpower some of the milder cameroon smokes? Could you give me a specific cigar you like? Ryan

Tea is a new found favorite. I know it sounds king of foo foo but really cleanses the palate and the aroma is very complimentary and subtle. You have to get the good stuff though. $15.00 a pot.

Capt.
Am a new cigar smoker, have been trying C.com samplers.
I like their own brand Cam. torpedo or robusto. Yea the whisy is strong, but I find the combination of the creamy smoke and the smokey whiskey, is a terrific blend.
Any advice on your favs, appreciated.
Regards signman.

Signman, my favorites are the first post on this thread. I am slowly getting in to more of the peaty/smoky scotchs, vs. milder aged scotch. Ryan

mmmmmmmmm Billy BEER
I have an empty can of Billy Beer on display in my kitchen.

As for my beverage of choice with a cigar:

Short Story w/Black Coffee in the morning

Scotch (The Glenlivet or Macallan or LAPHROAIG) with pretty much anything.

I am a bit unique in my choice of beverages, I dislike coffee and I also quit drinking about a year ago. I find that no matter what I smoke, tea goes well as do some root beers, cream ales, etc...

Last night I smoked a Royal Jamaican Gold Churchill and sipped upon some lemon iced tea, for me it was a nice combo, I am sure some people are shuddering at the thought of those two but I enjoyed it, maybe a lack of sophistication is a good thing.

Speaking of quittng drinking, my sobriety date is coming up, it's a great excuse to buy a really nice cigar, any ideas?

I enjoy tea with a smoke too...if that makes us less sophisticated...so bi it! :D
