Its been a while since I had a 97....hmmm....I have one in the coolerdor....I think i'll smoke it this weekend 
Be sure to thank Mike Chuisano too. He donated the box. In fact, this whole thing was brought on by someone from this forum sending him an email telling him how everyone on the board thinks so highly of his cigars. He called me right away to do this.
Alex how would you compare the 96 corojo to the 97

I'm not Alex, but I liked the '97 over the '96. The '96 just tasted bland to me, but the '97s are excellent.
The 96 and 97 are distinctly different. When the 97 was blended some mexican seco was used. The primary differnce with this addiiton is that it will wet the palate quite a bit. In fact, some people say you can "drink" the 1997. Realative to the 97, the 96 has a dry finish and a more subltle spicy aroma. The 97 is more obvious. The 96 is a very good smoke. I highly recommend it. IMHO I like the 96 more than the 97 but really like them both.
I really enjoy the 97's, but most of all, I smoke the C10 Robs! One of those is usually always on me!
