sitting in my hammock enjoying a Arturo Fuente Casa Fuente

Hello from Cuba, name is Jason currently in the military. Since the year of 96 I have been enjoying Cigars on and off but as I get older I use them to relax if my wife is not there with me. I usually smoke Cohiba Siglo VI when serving in the Middle East but I will smoke Diablo for the spice and Arturo Fuente for the flavor. Happy to be here and always looking for advice from everyone.

Diablo, welcome to the forum. The Siglo VI is also a favorite of mine. But, if you are really into the Diablo, stock up 'cause they aren't gonna make them anymore.

Diablo,

Welcome to the forum. Please adjust your location from Cuba to your actual location when you get a second. It helps all of us keep track of where everyone is from.

Hello everybody

Hi all, my name is Andy and I reside in Michigan. I have smoked for a few years now but just recently got serious about it, bought a humidor, decent punch, some nice long wooden matches and here I am, looking for some likeminded folks to share information with.

The past year or so I have been slowly going from $3-4 to $6-7 to $10-12 sticks trying to figure out what I prefer in an everyday and a special occasion cigar. The only thing I have learned is that I have been enjoying the process of trying to find out what I like and dislike. Pretty much the only cigar I have sampled that I put out and swore never to smoke again are the Acid's.

Some highlights of my recent smoking adventures would be:

Partagas Black label
La Gloria Serie R
Ashton sungrown
Macanudo Gold label
CAO Brazilia

Lots of stuff I would like to try but haven't yet, lots of questions as well, I am looking forward to being a part of this forum, thanks for having me.

Welcome newcomers! This forum is probably the friendliest one out there... Make yourselves to home, and if you have questions don't hesitate to ask. There is bound to be someone here that has an answer for you.

To all of you new guys out there, welcome aboard. We're glad to have you here.

Thanks for the warm welcome.

Capt., I live in the Kalamazoo area, how about yourself?

Cloudy, I live in the Commerce Twp/Walled Lake/Novi area. I make it thru K-zoo when I make my trips out to Chicago.

Where do I start? Well I guess the best place is to greet everyone, so hello my fellow cigar lovers.

My name is Marc and I am your typical Californian. I am currently a college student studying to be an accountant. I just recently left the field of work that I was in. I was an art director for Warner Bros. and Universal, and worked on such things like "The Bachelor and Bachelorette," "The Real Gilligans Island," and " The Will." I mostly worked on reality TV, but I have also worked a few features. I have been smoking cigars now for about six months, and cannot get enough of it. I am only twenty-three years old, but appreciate cigars to the fullest. I know that I still have a lot to learn, but I must say, I am a fast learner. Please feel free to ask me any questions, as I will not hesitate to ask questions if i have them. thank you all for your time, and I must say, this is a awesome forum

P.S.

I am a HUGE Laker fan

Welcome, cigar-noob! How long were you an art director? Does that mean you worked on set design and props? Sounds like a cool job.
