New? Introduce Yourself Here

After hanging around awhile, I finally made my first post, so I thought I would introduce myself. About 4 months ago, I walked into the local cigar shop and bought a few cigars. Before this I smoked a few phillies and what not. (Burning tongue) Anyway, my mind was blown with the first Montecristo White. How could tobacco be this good? I was hooked. I have been trying different cigars ever since and have a decent stash now.

Anyway, my name is Mike. I go to OSU in Tulsa (computer science), and I work at the local hog slop all you can eat resurant as a cook.

A few of my favorite cigars....any Ashton, CAO eXtreem, REO, RP Vintage '90 & '92, oh ya, and I love the flor de oliva golds.

My kinda stix!

If you get the chance, try the Cigar.com labels of sticks; Cameroon, Red, and Cuban Labels especially.

I've been too busy to post much lately.
Welcome to all the newest members, you've stumbled onto a great place.

Welcome, Jack!

Welcome, Mike!

This is a great forum. The folks are always willing to help out with any questions you may have. And, they're a friendly bunch, too!

Welcome!

First Post

Greetings everybody!
My name is Pete and this is my fist post to this site, I'll probably spend half the day reading threads. I have been smoking cigars for about a year and am enjoying every minute, puffing and relaxing.
I have several 'puros' in my travel humidor and Fuente baggie because I haven't quite found the 'perfect' humidor to store them in. Currently, I have and smoke the following: Sancho Panza Extra Fuerte, Macanudo Maduro Diplomats, Gurkha Ancient Warriors (my favorite), Perdomo Cabinet Series Champagne and Silver Labels, Los Blancos Maduros and a few Astral's.

Thanks in advance for the welcome!

Welcome Gurkha. Glad to see somebody mention those Sancho's and Ancient Warriors. Great cigars that don't seem to get their dues.

Hi Gurka7. Welcome to the site. As for the humidor, I have one word for you, Coolerdor. You will thank me later.

I love those Perdomo's and the Gurkha's are creamy delicious.

Just wanted to say hello to all. Been reading the site for a couple of months now, and figured that I should join in as well. I have been smoking now for a couple of years. I have included a pic of my humidor and label collection. What do you all think?

That's beautiful. The thing you did placing favorite cigar bands in a nice frame under glass is an idea I've had for years. I have yet to implement it, but it's floatin' around up there.

Welcome to the forum, Bennett's Dad!

You have a fine collection of cigars!
I also save the bands of my favorite cigars, but have yet to frame any of them.

I am in Cleveland, OH- and tonight I am planning on smoking outside for the first time this year. Planning on either CAO Gold , or maybe a Montecristo White. Trying to decide between having a port with it or maybe a Cherry Marnier... yum.... A question that I have is that I got a box of the CAO Gold Tubos- they are sealed with plastic- should I keep them like that until I am ready to smoke, or open them up to let them breath a little?
