I fully understand what everyone is saying, sounds good. I have just experienced when a group stays in the same area, the late night bar talks and all that are really fabulous! No big deal though, I'd rather setup an agenda or something where we all meet at X spot at Y time to have the sitdown, and then everyone can do as they wish. I'd rather meet a mess of you folks then a few in the same place!!

its a lot more fun if people dont have to drive back to where they are sleeping. you dont need to be carefull of the alcohol, you dont have to get home before your too tired to drive, its way better.
The cheaper hotels are in the next city called Brigatine. I saw them as low as $80 per 2 person. I PM'ed Paul some info on those rooms, but can't seem to find them now. I know for a fact there are cheaper hotels in AC, I just can't find them on the web. My parents went down and stayed in a Comfort Inn last month for $60 a night. Tried to call my moms but she didn't pick up!
I will be staying at the Trump Marina which is not on the boardwalk, but over by the Marina and next to the Borgota. Most casinos are in walking distance or for $5, the bike people will drive you 10 blocks.

Still miffed I couldn't do Chicago. Gonna try to hit this one, only 5 or so hour drive. May need to pick up Bloof on the way!!!
