Single Malt suggestions

Just tried Dalmore. Didn't care for it. Vince, I think I'll try one of your other choices. Looking forward to it. Anyone want the rest of the Dalmore? HA HA

What didn't you like about it? Too abrasive? Too smoky? Too alcoholy? (I know - I made that last word up)

Ok - that makes sense! Do you have any scotches that do work for you?

so far I have found any that I will not drink, I will not pay for some, but will drink them if thats all there is ! hahaha Enjoy, Vince

Spayburn is my GO to dram of choice, for the price there is nothing better in a single malt, it is better than a lot of blends, not as good as some , but for the PRICE it is my Go to Dram

Bunnahabhain 12: This has got to be the lightest Islay I have had. Very delicate Smoke and Peat and quite sweet, with a long oily finish. I truly enjoyed this however it is not what I would choose when I crave "burning liquid sod wrapped in seaweed".

The missus just hooked me up with a bottle of Glenlivet Nadurra 16 year old cask strength. And I'm VERY appreciative. It's fantastic.

This is the scotch that IMHO is the closest to Bourbon that I have ever drank, it is matured in new oak from what I was told, giving it that sweet oak flavor , I am about 3/4 through my bottle I got at Christmas , nice dram for sure
Enjoy, Vince
