The life of a Firehouse Chef

I could do that. I usually make sauces without a recipe, but i"ll throw one together tonight, and actually write it down this time.

Your womenz ain't got nothin on my babe!

Oh and Mac...she's over you now!

You guys leave my mom alone. I'm tellin ya, she'll just smoke all your cigars and leave you with a broken heart.

Now I always thought Julia Child would be the perfect woman untill I saw Rachel Ray, she's hot and can cook too! Plus Julia is dead now :(

Interesting how the fact that she is dead isn't the FIRST reason you're no longer interested...

:cryinlaugh: :cryinlaugh: :cryinlaugh:

Dbrad, I'll take it all, Rachael's giggle, the countertop garbage pail, the dental floss for soft cheese, the EVOO, the works. The only thing I can't take is watching her third show, the one where she's schmoozing celebrities. I could do without that. I could also do without the blonde hair extensions. I'm wayyyy partial to brunettes anyway, and her own hair is beautiful. No need to put those stupid things in. I did like one of those celebrity shows, the one with Cheech. I'm just wondering about what happened off camera. NO, I'm NOT talking hanky panky, I'm just wondering whose stash they smoked. :sm_angel:

I am getting ready to go shopping for lunch and dinner today. Its been a little slow on my last two shifts, but my cigar breaks are ALWAYS interrupted. I really dont know what to cook. Last shift had crab legs, but I'm just not in the mood for seafood. Ill make it easy and go with Cuban sandwiches. Ill keep it a cuban theme and smoke a Siglo. If you want to send some input for dinner, I am all ears!! Bloof, any input? Maybe something from 30 minute meals??? lol

Yeah, I've got some input. If Ms. Ray ever dumps the entertainment lawyer/rock guitarist, I've got some input right heah I've got some input.

:cryinlaugh: :cryinlaugh:

Hey Capt, if you're going with a Cuban theme, you could possibly have some sort of a steak salad using strips of grilled flank steak, diced onions, fresh cilantro, and freshly squeezed lime. For a simple side dish, you could go with Cuban rice (fried rice with peas, diced onions, carrrots, slivers of scrambled egg, and smoked ham cut into cubes). And for dessert, you could go with plantains glazed with caramel (just melt sugar till its caramelized, add vinegar till dissolved, and then some water, lime zest, and cinnamon) with some vanilla or cinnamon ice cream on the side.

Oh yeah, and your Siglo to top it all off!! 8)

rdesantos, I forgot you cook!! We dont have plantains around here, but I could use banannas I guess. The salad sounds awesome, as I always have some flank steak on hand. I have never heard of the Cuban rice, but I have all the ingredients here for it. Thanks man!!!! I cant wait for the food forum!!!

I can't read Capt's posts anymore. Every one of them has The Hottest Woman In The Universe's picture in it. This is getting very difficult. It's very hard to go about one's life when your hands are always going toward . . .

aaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, never mind.

:dunno: :flush:

Bloof, wait until you see my next one!!! Anyone watch Fox and Friends on the weekends?? Juliet Huddy???? *drool*

Cute, but way too skinny for me. Don't like long, bird legs and she looks like she may not have too much of a caboose either.

Bloof, Im going against you on this one. I have a picture of her in a bikini!!!

im with bloof, ive not seen the girl in question but i like a girl to have a little meat on her bones. skinny girls are too fragile. and you cant take them camping or outdoors, they get cold really fast.

Not sure about whether or not her living arrangements have changed since she got engaged, but up until recently, Rachael Ray lived in a cabin in the woods with her pit bull.

Bloof, your absolutely right. She lives in the Adirondack Mountains. By the way bloof, Check this out:
