The Walking Dead

What i don't understand is in episode 5, how did all the walkers get into their perimeter without sounding an alarm? They had tin cans wired up. And why would the put the camp right on the edge of a forest. It looks like they would have done what the Vatos did, and find something they could fortify. They desperately need sniper rifles.

I hope Rob Hawkins is safe. I hope he didn't go into Atlanta. If so, he and his son may very well be infected.

I think they have him back saving the day when no one expects it. At least I hope so.

I hope so. He is a great actor. Suited for survivalist parts.

Downloaded the first episode of season 2 this weekend. It was $2.99 on iTunes. Ouch. Plus it took five hours to download. I gotta find a better way. I'll probably watch it tonight.

The tacticle shotgun that shane carries is pretty damn cool.

Anyone watching The Walking Dead? Season 3 is pretty intense. I love it.

The mid-season finale was awesome!!! Every episode in this season has been better than the best episode of season 2! Very good! I can't wait until February for it to start again.

February 10th!!! I'm pretty excited. I've read the comics to current. Can't wait to see the differences.

I really enjoy this series. I'm pretty simple, I enjoy watching the different ways they keep finding to kill zombies.

My favorite characters are Glenn and Carl.

My favorite zombie kill was when they pulled the zombie out of the well and he split apart. Another was when Daryl fell down the embankment and was knocked out, only to wake up just in time to place an arrow right into the forehead of a zombie.

Hands down my favorite character is Daryl. Never would have thought that when he was first introduced.

I do enjoy his character but he hasn't changed much from the start. He is surly and disengaged (but is a great zombie killer).

Maybe, I should qualify my statement, Glenn and Carl's character have really morphed into some major players in the series, so they are my favorites in terms of character development. What I also like about WD is that these guys could be dead tomorrow. No one is sacred on the show.

7 more days and more dead zombies!

Tyre saw was a major character in the comic. Glad they brought him in. I wonder how long he will last.

Rick is still my favorite character. I love how Daryl has respect for him and has stuck by him. Rick is just an ordinary guy. He make us look at ourselves and wonder how we would react in that situation. What would we do to protect our family.

My question is how long will Rick last? Since his psychotic episode (hearing voices), you've got to wonder if the writers are creating a scenario similar to Shane and will finally lose it altogether. It really seems that anyone stepping up to play a leadership role gets knocked off eventually. (eg Shane, Dale & T-Dog)

It will be interesting to see where the Merle vs. Daryl and the Governor vs. Rick conflicts go this season.

Sorry about auto correct. Tyresse is what I meant. He will be a major player in the book. I won't give out spoilers right now, but the TV show does loosely follow the book, but there is enough difference between the two to make both interesting.

I bought the whole series that was combined into one book. When I got it, my wife latched onto it. I asked her about it later and she said that my daughter wanted to read it so she gave it to her. I've since lost track of who is reading it now. I'm sure my chances of seeing it again are slim to none. I did get to see the cover! :)

Are you still enjoying Rick's character after that? He's headed for the looney bin.
