The Walking Dead

Total snoozer for me - the meeting with Rick and the Governor was way too long - it took them an hour and could have done the same in a few minutes.

Both the Governor and Rick have lied to their respective groups ever since we have known them, so to me it's not much of a revelation - just more of the same.

Looking forward to the last episodes of the season.

Predictions? I know you are familiar with the comics. I think I know who will die in the next three episodes.

Maybe I enjoyed last weeks episode so much because I'm not watching it through the prism of the comic book series?

I'll have to bail on this thread for now, because I don't want to know any potential spoilers.

I only read the first comic which encompassed the first season.

No predictions for me, DL. Just a hope that Morgan joins the group. I always liked his character - and he's a great actor. If you ever get the chance to catch him in "Line of Duty" - it's worth watching.

DGJ,

You know as much as I do. I'd rather have the discussion. I'll withhold my predictions.

Kevin,

He was awesome in Jericho!

This episode is pointless. Wow. No prison, no Rick, no Daryl.

I watched this with the kids last week and pretty much didn't get the point. Partially because I never watched it but mostly due to the fact that when you get them all in the same room together they won't shut up. So, I couldn't hear half of it. Looks like good cinematography and acting from what I could see.

I thought it could be better - chasing Andrea through that building for half of the episode was a bit much. Especially since we knew how that would turn out. I think we really we were spoiled with the season up until now.

On the positive, finding out a little more about Tyrese and his group - I think they will be an interesting wildcard.

I could see Tyresse being a major player in season 4. If that turns out to be the case, there won't be much need for Abraham though. Abraham is such a great character in the comics. It's very neat how he and Rick clash at first, and eventually become good friends.

The video game was just released at midnight. Though I don't consider myself a gamer, I want this one bad. In fact not only do I want it, I want to do online play with it. I haven't done online play since PS2 Socom and that was a blast. But with all that being said, I am tight and will likely wait until the price comes down a little.

The last two minutes of tonight's episode.

Wow.

That is all.

It's finished. For the most part I am disappointed with the last half of this season. In my opinion the best part of the season was walker Merle in last episode. Reminded me of barn-walker Sofia from season two.

Well, not much closure tonight. Now we have a friggin' long, hot summer until we find out what will happen. Oh well. I still love the show.

In regards to last night's episode, I agree with Carl's logic. I just believe that the situation was the wrong time to apply that logic.

I truly thought the season finale would result in the end of the Governator. So now he'll be back in season 4. At least the first couple of episodes. I'm happy Tyresse is now with Rick. He will be a strong player next season. Too bad there weren't more fighting age people in Woodbury that Rick could have brought back to the prison.

Andrea. Wow. Who saw that coming? Late in the comic, Andrea and Rick get together. I was expecting her to be in season 4. And walker Milton was pretty good.

As said in my last post, for the most part, I am disappointed in this season as a whole. For me, season 2 was the most intense. Barn walker Sofia, bad apple Shane, and then walker Shane. It's going to be hard to top season 2.

I agree with you on Carl's logic - it's a different world in Walker land - Rick can't hold Carl to pre-Walker logic. Also with a small army - can't afford to lose a fighter to be a guard. Just the way it is.

As much as I was hoping for a cool end to the Gov - I wouldn't say for sure that he is back in the first few episodes. That may a meeting to come in the future - maybe even another season (aka. Morgan and Merle.)

Speaking of Morgan - had hoped that he would have gotten his crap together and joined back up with the prison gang. Still think that will happen later on in a battle royale scene.

Andrea was number one on my list to not survive, outside of Milton. I thought Carol might have gone to zombieland, as well as Tyreese's significant other.

Although the last few episodes were a lull, I still rate this as my favorite season so far. It could have been fantastic though.

I figured the same with Carol. Also Hershel. I wonder if walker Hershel could still use the crutch?

Never thought about that. I think you should right to the creator of the series and ask that question. Kudos, DL.

Funny thing about that, last night on The Talking Dead, a caller or tweeter called in and asked if Daryl was going to start seeing visions of Merly wearing a white dress.

What to do now on Sunday evenings until October? Kind of strange not being able to watch last night. And since TWD is the ONLY thing I watch on TV, I won't be tuning in to other shows.

Nine more days until Season 4!!!! Who's going to watch?
