Today's smoke

Arganese Connecticut Toro- first try, not a bad cigar for the price.

Gurkha Widow Maker maduro churchill - Spicy sweet flavor-very nice cigar-I wish I had more than 5 more.

El Rey Del Mundo maduro toro- This had been sitting in my big humidor for years so I moved it to the humidor in the garage to smoke about a month ago. Today it caught my eye and I grabbed it. It had a powdery substance sprinkled on it and that could be good or bad. It was a good thing. This was the sweetest tasty El Rey I've ever had and I nubbed it. If I could get them that good with around 5 years of aging I would buy more. The cigar wasn't new enough to be on my cigar list. I have to go now to look to see if there are more of them.

That powdery substance could very well have been ploom! Awesome, tony!

VSOP Connecticut toros (2) one in the cold rain and one in a lull to celebrate the womens' NCAA basketball championship.
I got sidetracked in my quest to find more El Rey Del Mundos and looked to find out when I got them. Turns out it was 3 years ago and I bought a box of 12 called the Decadent Dozen. Still have one humidor to check and I have the rest of this cold and miserable day to get to it.

Tonight is an Illusione hl The Holy Lance Lancero.
As with any cigar by Dion Giolito, this one is perfect.

Casa Blanca CT deluxe toro
Graycliff 30 year Pirate torpedo- not impressive
Gurkha Legend toro- nice !

Punch cabinet toro
Perdomo Tierra Del Sol maduro toro- dry sweet taste in last 2 inches, but not impressive otherwise.

Too cold and breezy to smoke any more today.

VSOP CT toro
Honduran factory corojo corona larga
La Caya CT churchill- terrible burn- corrections of no help
Torano Exodus 1959 box pressed robusto-minor wrapper quality problem, burned evenly, held ash well.
Joya Del Jefe toro
VSOP CT toro

the VSOPs were the best smokes-the Torano was somewhat disappointing.

I just finished a Tatuaje Grande Cojuno with no date year. I've had the 2006 and 2009 already but not this one yet. It was very good. Moving on to a Alec Bradley Tempus Maduro. I'm hanging out at Elite Cigar Cafe in Addison, Tx with my youngest daughter while my wife is at a woman's conference here in the DFW area.

Robusto is a good cigar. I want to try Gurkha monogram now. I wish it makes me feel like the end of world.

Gurkha Monogram is a pretty darn good cigar, but it didn't make me feel like the end of the world. I wouldn't mind finding a deal on more of them. The ones I had were torpedos and I still have 2 or 3 of them somewhere in the humidors. Maybe tomorrow.

Today's history:

Topstone Director maduro- wrapper issues but still a decent smoke
Hesitant Pirate churchill- not a bad cheap cigar
Felipe Gregorio Fusion toro- started out good but faded to just OK
Gurkha Havana Selection torpedo CT- my fifth and last of these, IMO the worst Gurkha made.

Gurkha Monogram torpedo- creamy and sweet from start to end. would buy more.
Bahia Gold Maduro toro- slightly sweet with an interval of peppery taste. may buy more.
Honduran factory corojo gran corona- good for delivering wood, but not on my to buy list.
Gurkha Copper gran robusto- Creamy and sweet and even better than the monogram- on my to buy list.

Smoked a Aging Room last night, Robusto sized. Picked it up at my local. Its' a small batch cigar. Really good smoke!

Smoke on a beautiful day

Just heard that we might see some snow on Monday which is absurd...so I made sure to enjoy the beautiful day out today (we haven't had many yet) with a nice Fonseca Classic 5-50.

Gurkha Seduction robusto- sweet and creamy, mild and cool draw to the nub. Good morning cigar.

Mayorga torpedo- awful-only smoked half of it before discarding-3 good ones and 1 bad in the past. will not buy more.

Hesitant Pirate churchill- work cigar not as good as the first I had.

Kinky Friedman the Governor- a bit of flavor and a pretty good cigar. might buy more.

Flores y Rodriguez cabinet selection magicos habano- medium body and nice flavors, not sure if it should be 95 rated, but I would buy more if available (small batch production).

Finally on the board this season.

Smoked a Monte 4 while doing my Zen golf walk this morning. Great, great, great smoke! Munched on a breakfast bar and some almonds while smoking this cigar.

On another positive note - my rotator cuff handled the 9 well and I shot my best 9 in a long time. Not bad for my first time out!

Morro Castle robusto- very nice, better that I remember the torpedo version being.

La Flor Dominicana Ligero cabinet L-200 Oscuro- good cigar, a bit small and rather expensive for me to smoke regularly.

Asylum 13 sixty (double toro)- started a bit bitter with a punch so I clipped it and it went away. Big cigar, very nice and I have a couple more to smoke.

Honduran Factory corojo gran corona- decent work cigar and this one was pretty good.

Trinidad Paradox- box pressed rectangular. Very nice cigar creamy with a touch of pepper. On my buy list.

Perdomo Tierra Del Sol toro natural
La Perla Habana Classic toro
Joya De Jefe toro
Bahia Gold White Label robusto-best cigar of the day and my only one- will be looking to buy more.

Pinar Del Rio habano sungrown double corona (more like a toro)
Oliveros International churchill- be glad when these are all gone-not my cup of tea at all.

spent a lot of the day inside today, not feeling good and cool and breezy today.

Tesoros Cubanos robusto- work cigar, but good this AM. May be the last I have.

Cult Box Press- A little strong-reminded me a bit of a Padron 2000. Good smoke. Will buy more if the price is right.

Muniemaker Long- a little tight on the draw but it worked nicely and I enjoyed what once upon a time was a regular of mine.

Bahia Icon No. II- nice smoke with a touch of sweetness and lots of smoke. May become a humidor regular.
