Today's smoke

I just finished a Gran Habano Vintage 2000, a good cigar for a spring evening cleaning up the yard.

My smoking has slowed down because of my allergies. I am only smoking about one a week. That will pick up in about a month. A couple of nights ago I did smoke a churchill from Stogies Premium Cigar Factory. Not bad at all.

Pinar Del Rio habano Oscuro liga cubana no.2 robusto- decent cigar

Gran Habano Azteca Fuerte torpedo-awful taste and I almost tossed it except it faded away. Nothing remarkable about this cigar.

Asylum toro- good cigar but not exceptional.

Bacchus Sumatra toro- decent inexpensive cigar.

What did you think of it, Justin ? I thought it was a bit strong for the AM.

Mark Twain # 3-- faitly mild and unobjectionable-little if any flavor-burned well

Cain F Nub 464 torpedo--Wrapper issues(my fault) burned well, held all the ash, strong with no notable flavor.

San Bajito bellicoso- Wow- very nice and flavorful. burned evenly and held the ash well. If anything was negative it was the last inch when the cigar got quite hot on the draw.

Gurkha Havana Blend robusto-very nice, good flavor, held ash well, burned evenly-better than I remember them to be.

Bahia Insignia 10th Anniversay Insignia toro- decent smoke perhaps a bit too spicy for the morning.

Torano Vault robusto- decent smoke but not much in the way of flavor.

CLE Cuarenta sixty- Good flavor throughout the 6 inches of this 60 ring cigar.

Gurkha Seduction robusto- An old friend stopped by and we each smoked one along with a glass of Glenfiddich. Very nice and good mild flavor.

Gurkha Status toro- mild enough for a morning smoke

Bahia Icon toro- A bit a flavor, but a bit strong for my taste buds.

La Perla Habana classic toro - nice cigar- much better than the last one I had

Arturo Fuente Curly Head deluxe maduro- decent cigar

Hoyo De Monterey toro- decent cigar

Tatuaje for tonight. Great smoke!

I smoked 3 cigars yesterday while working in the yard. Nothing fancy, a Bolivar Cofradia, an Omar Ortez, and a La Perla Roja.

Maxim De Paris Imperial- not a bad morning cigar- now I know what to do with the rest of them.

Gurkha Beauty (gordo/XO) not bad, mild but not a real good smoke IMHO.

Signature Collection Vintage 2005 Maduro Robusto- started it working in the garden and it was so-so, but it got a bit better when iI sat down and took a break for the last half. Have to try another.

Hesitant Pirate churchil- work cigar while working in the garden

Gurkha Vintage series 1999 toro- while cleaning up and putting things back in the garage, second half sitting with a beer. Not a big flavor cigar but a darn good one with a real CT wrapper. Bad thing is that I only have or had 1 more.

Maxim de Paris while rototilling and a couple of other work cigars. Cool and cloudy with a gfew sprinkles here today.

Don Pepin Garcia and a Shiner Black.

C.I. Legends Series-Don Pepin Garcia-pretty good smoke (yellow label).

Padilla Fumas (the ones a couple of years ago) CT toro.

just curious, why don't you guys post pics of the cigars? :)

Some do and some don't. I'd just rather enjoy the smoke than all the tech stuffs. I sorta do that tech thing for a living (I'm retired but manage a production studio as a hobby) and I don't want to mess with it while I'm smoking.

Some of today's smokes

Toraño Single Region
Puros Indios Viejo
Fink's Little Joe

3 work cigars, then into new arrivals with little rest and perhaps too dry. Black ops maduro churchill- very promising mild and flavorful-wrapper problems but burned evenly. Bahia B-line bellicoso- wrapper problems and not very promising.
