Last night I smoked an Ashton Cabinet. I couldn't get the pic to upload so you'll have to take my word for it. This cigar was awesome!

Started the day with a La Corona torpedo -might be the last of a box I bought several years ago.
After lunch went machine made with a Muniemaker long
Closed with a Toro Bravo robusto.

Going to Elks Lodge after work(15 minutes). Have a beautiful PSD4 with me. Can't wait to light this baby up and have a nice Crown Royal rocks!

First stick of the day was a Punch Gran Puro. Spicy beginning but smoothed out into a mild leathery smoke. It left an acidic aftertaste that I didn't enjoy.

A Kinky Friedman Utopian. "Honduran Cigars for Texans everywhere." Proceeds go to benefit the animal shelter in Utopia, Texas.

How was the Kinky ? I've got a Willy Shaggy Foot waiting for pleasant weather.

It's starting off pretty good, Tony. I am about an inch into it. Mostly black coffee flavor with a little bit of spice. Flakey ash.

Smoked a Black Pearl earlier today. A Feral Flying Pig, a LGC Liga LG-1, and another LGC this evening.

Cold and windy-wind chill in single digits, still made it out for 2 robustos--Magicos Cubanos and a Castle Hall.

5 Vegas Miami that I found in the bottom of my humidor. I have never been a fan of this brand, nor have I been a fan of corojo wrappers. Surprisingly, this is not a bad cigar.

Smoked another Black Pearl and a Kristoff CG Signature Series today. A light day today for me.

Added a Diesel Shorty to the evening. I just couldn't get away with only two smokes today.

Met a retired Coast Guard Officer today who lives down the road from us. He is a pipe and cigar smoker. Interesting fellow.

Right now I am smoking a Perdomo Cabinet Series P.

Just finished off a Nub Cameroon while watching my granddaughter ride around on her quad.

My nephew is one of the few Master Chiefs in the Coast Guard. He is a cigar smoker.

Anything Perdomo is good, isn't it?

DGJ,

I've not ever had a bad Perdomo. The Lot 23 and Habano lines are my favorite.

Not exactly, but I haven't found an awful one in my limited search.

One of the interesting things I found during my visit to the Perdomo factory is that they draw test EACH AND EVERY cigar. It has to pull withing a certain range or it's rejected. The cigars that pull hard are not placed into the bottom of a box. They are taken apart and re-bunched and re-wrapped.

I have no idea what other cigar makers do to test for draw.
