What Did You Smoke Today

Tried another CAO America today. The first I tried was great. The second was kind of lacking in the flavor department. The one I had today was probably somewhere between the two. For the price, it's not a bad cigar, though.

My second cigar was much better. Padron 1964 Anniversary Maduro Piramide. Good Lord, what a great cigar! Cocoa and coffee flavors, perfect draw and burn. Padron goodness throughout. I'm gonna have to smoke some more of those, that's for sure!

If the Tribe sweeps the Yankees tonight, I will be smoking an Ashton Heritage Double Corona that has been in the humi for quite sometime.

I tried an Oliva Serie O Robusto last night. It had some strange flavors to it. There was almost a slight "chemical/solvent" taste. It mellowed out about half way through but finished with that same off flavor which is lingering yet today. Anyone ever experience this before?

Just finished a Perdomo 91 Vintage ESV a few minutes ago from a recent Friday deal. Excellent smoke, just right for a nice short sit outside.

just had my first gurkha regent

WOW

quite fantastic :)

very very complex flavors, earthy aroma, nice looooong spicyspicyspicy finish ahhhhhhh so good, and then the last three inches mellowed out to a very nutty and coffee bean flavors.

highly recommend :)

Over the weekend, I had a Fuente Casa Fuente and Perdomo Lot 23. Both were fantastic smokes!

tonight I went on a long walk with my wife and kids and had and El REy Del Mundo for the first time. It was a nice smoke.

i did a review of one of these about a year ago. i thought it was a great smoke. its twin (from the same box) is in my humi. i may have to see how it does with a little over a year of age/rest on it. ... or maybe ill keep it for another year.

Currently smoking an Anejo 55 with a couple fingers of Buffalo Trace. What a way to end a long day.

Just voted for the next idiot qualified individual to ruin run the Magic City. In celebration, I smoked a CAO America. Not a bad smoke. Not really sure what I was expecting, but the America was a bit unexpected. Good flavor but a little flat throughout. I kept expecting it to open up and it never did.

I've got a couple more that will live in the humi for a few months and I'll see then.

I'm a little late, but yesterday I had a Camacho Triple Maduro rothschild. It was pretty good. Don't know if it was worth the price, but I had to try it. I may pick up a few more and let them rest a while.

Yesterday I smoked a huge bowl out of my pipe then I smoked a Gurkha and a JP Cazadore.

I'm about to smoke a Padilla Miami Robusto with cup of french press brewed Kenya Auction Lot from Peets.

My eldest offspring is 26 today. It has also been one year since my grandson had heart valve surgery.

Finally, Mr. Jack Daniel died 96 years ago today.

I'm having a PSP2, celebrating my daughter and grandson. Later, I'll sip some Jack Daniel's, along with a Monte Edmundo.

Last night had a Pepin Cuban Classic Figurado. Good full bodied cigar with lots of flavor. Not as heavy as the Oliva Master Blends but not far off either. The night before was a Perdomo Habano.

Gurkha Warlord

dear Lord what a smoke.

this sucker was HUGE, three and a half inches of ash before falling, visually beautiful, taste complex, earthy, and coffee bean, very consistent throughout with great draw.

Smoked to a nub, made me feel more of a man, not the same flavour I'm used to from Gurkha, but would recommend none the less

Still sitting at about 84° here. I'm making a Lynchburg Lemonade, and enjoying a Mag 46, while toasting Redd Foxx, who died 16 years ago today.

I had a Gurkha G3 this evening. Really nice smoke. It had an amazingly complex flavor. I'm been blown away by this one and the X3. I'm going to pick up a box of these.
